Heyyyy it has been a while since my last story. Still busy with my exams and studies but good news I am almost done and I have been able to work on different stories ! I will let you enjoy the story / headcannon idea <3
I had a nightmare where I was playing a video game and ended up winning against someone who started harassing me after they thought I was cheating. They looked up every bit of information on me, my name, location, and people related to me, to kill me and make me suffer. Sooo I thought what if it were a yandere scenario instead.
You play a online game, and during one quest, you meet Yandere Player. You two become friends in the game and play together.
You talk about getting married in-game to receive bonuses, and for Yandere Player, it is like a real proposal. Maybe their family situation is terrible, and people treat them badly or abuse them. Or perhaps they are completely alone and believe no one will ever want someone like them to be their other half.
So to them, this is a declaration of love, and they are so happy because they are in love with you too. Since the moment you two started to talk, they knew they had feelings for you.
After the in-game marriage, the yandere starts doing quests alone to farm money and objects (ingredients for food, materials, etc.). Every time you connect, they tell you that you can make dinner or take care of the house you both share in the game.
Of course, you start to lose interest and get irritated after a while because you can't enjoy the game. You're always attributed to the simplest tasks, and you can’t even go on quests anymore! When you ask them why they are acting this way and tell them that you are tired of the "domestic" tasks they give you, they call you their wife and tell you that they are only providing for you so you don’t have to go on quests that could hurt or worse, kill you.
And you are disturbed when they start talking about starting a family with you. You can’t have children in the game. They don’t seem like they are talking about the game anymore...
So one day, you uninstall the game without telling them. You don’t want to deal with their excuses, and you are too tired to argue with them again. When you don’t connect at the usual time, the yandere panics and starts looking for your info. In their mind, something happened to you. You would never leave like that; you always tell them when you can’t play or when you are going to be late. You love the game; they know it. You told them you have been playing it for years now.
Believe it or not, but Yandere Player never thought about looking up what you looked like or anything about you. They didn’t need to know who you are because they are certain you two are soulmates already. They are not a shallow person either, personality over looks type of person. They were certain that one day, you would ask to meet them, so they never really tried to search for any info about you.
They are quite good at finding out who you are and everything you have published. Didn’t you know it is dangerous to leave your info public? See, another reason you two are made for each other! They protected you in the game, but now they will be able to protect you in real life as well.
When they end up finding pictures of you, they can’t help but blush. You don’t look like your character, you look so much better, so real and lovely. Your smile, they love the way you smile in your pictures. Seeing you happy makes them happy and giddy.
They send you a few friend requests on your social media. Of course, you don’t know who they are, so they also send a message with the request: a simple “Hey! It is me, [Your Name]. Your husband!” But you don’t accept any of their requests...
It is clear, you are in danger. Maybe someone is holding you hostage, or worse, you have been attacked. Only one solution is left: they are going to your house. It doesn’t matter if they live kilometers or miles away or in a completely different country. They will come to save you, so just wait. Your husband is coming to save you <3.
