tw; yandere themes, slight mention of violence and kidnapping
Imagine enabler rogue discovering yandere!shadow's obsession with you.
she's admittedly freaked out when she discovered he had a secret stash of multiple random photos of taken of you throughout the day and night, without your knowledge of course, as well as other miscellaneous items she knew obviously belonged to you that he stole--because why would shadow own a bottle of vanilla and berry body mist and a silver necklace with your initial on it? she had a hunch that he liked you, she saw it in the way he would constantly steal glances at you when you weren't looking and how his brooding deposition would become somewhat less gloomy when you were around, but she didn't think he liked you that much.
she had half the mind to call him out on it but at the same time...is it so bad that he's taken interest in someone? she's always encouraged shadow to go out and find someone, interact with other people and technically, he had. and he really, really, really liked you as it seemed, maybe a little too much--to a rather unhealthy extent, but still.
at the end of the day rogue cared about shadow and wanted him to find happiness and you seemed to be the one who could bring that to him. so she did what any other friend would do--encourage his obsession and help him claim his hearts desire.
she'll give him tips and pointers on proper courting techniques--"buy the girl some flowers and chocolate, shadow, I know you stalk her enough to know what her favorites are"-- maybe instead of stalking you and sneaking into your home when you're gone to steal stuff, maybe actually ask you out on an actual date and endear him to you, before trying all that kidnapping stuff.
but shadow is shadow and eventually he does snap and kidnaps you anyways before she could even tell what he was planning. when rogue came and saw you struggling, tied to the bed, she inwardly sighed. typical shadow, never listening to her advice. poor thing, you looked outright petrified and she won't lie, she did feel a pang in her heart when she saw the fear and desperate pleading look in your eyes that silently screamed "please help me", but she knew better than to meddle with shadow's affairs, especially concerning you, so all she could do was give an apologetic look and offer advice on avoiding doing anything to piss shadow off which would result in him hurting you--she knew shadow best and knew how he got when angered--it wouldn't be very pleasant for you if you did. so no escape attempts and try not to fight back so much. be on your best behavior and shadow won't be so difficult to put up with. he could even be sweet sometimes! looking around the room he kept you in, she could tell he went out of the way to set it up in the way you would've liked, judging by the decor of it--his apartment was always so bland looking and this room actually had color, so she knew shadow did it specifically for you.
it wouldn't be so bad for you, and maybe you could be the one to finally make shadow loosen up, because boy did he need it. as much as she cared for shadow, putting up with his brooding got tiring even for her; it'd be nice to have someone to share the burden with.
of course you somehow manage to escape one night, so she's there with a fuming shadow helping hunt you down--she's a little miffed at you for being the reason why she was dragged out of bed so late, and because she had warned you beforehand not to try something like this--because shadow was livid and she knew as soon as he got his hands on you. . .
they finally found you crouched behind some tree in a forest and shadow practically manhandles you and quickly teleports back to your prison new "home" and rogue can do nothing but shake her head with a sigh. well hopefully you were prepared to deal with an angry shadow, but you brought it on yourself.
tw; yandere, mentions of stalking, obsessive behavior, kidnapping, creepy shadow,
yandere!shadow who slowly yet completely becomes utterly consumed by you. what started as a simple, budding interest bloomed into a deeper fixation to where thoughts of you become a constant on his mind, so much to the point where mere thoughts of you aren't enough, he needs to see you, he needs to breathe in your scent, needs to touch you, feel you.
a simple touch, a ghosting of the hands sends electricity down his spine and it leaves him with a tingle, the area that you had simply brushed against burning. he needs more.
so shadow quite literally, becomes your shadow; everywhere you go, he's a few steps behind. you may think you are alone but you never truly are, not anymore, because he's always there hidden away where you can't see him. you could be out in the park, enjoying nature he's hidden away in a tree, watching you. you make a quick trip to the market? you fail to see the black and red figure at the very top of the building, jumping from one to the other, following you on the path you took to your home. in the coziness and 'safety' of your home you never realize the pair of crimson eyes constantly watching you from outside your windows as you do your leisure deeds; reading a book, cooking dinner, watching tv, shadow observes it all. yes, there are far better things he could be doing but you fascinated him, he's so enraptured by everything you do, his eyes following every movement, memorizing every step, to where he knows your whole routine like the back of his hand.
in a way, it angers him; him, the ultimate lifeform, being so infatuated by a simple, mere mobian like you. shadow didn't know what it was about you that made an ache form in his chest at the very thought of you, that made him burn with need. you made him sick, made him feel weak and things he was not used to at all, and you needed to fix it. you were going to fix it because the only cure to the madness you caused was becoming his.
so he plots everything, preparing rigorously and to perfection. he knew your daily routine, knew where you went, what time you did and when you'd return. he knew the exact moment to strike, it wouldn't be hard. you weren't much of a fighter anyways. but even when you did fight against him, it doesn't take him much to overpower you. he admires how beautiful you look, unconscious in his arms as he teleports you away to your new home. he knows it'll take some time getting used to, but he went out of his way to set up the room in the way you'd like; from items he'd stolen from your old room to ones he'd purchased specifically for you. he knew what you liked. everything was to your liking, the colors of the walls, the comforter on the bed. the clothes that hung in the closet was your exact style, your exact size, in your favorite colors and everything.
you'd probably be scared when you eventually woke up. you'd probably cry, probably scream and beg to go home, but he was prepared. it would all be okay, you'd be safe with him. you'd be happy with him. eventually. you'd probably try convince him to let you go, but that wouldn't be happening. because once shadow made up his mind about something, there was no changing it. you belonged with him now.
it wasn't like you ever stood a chance; because his heart decided you were his the moment he laid eyes on you.
Raindrops shimmered like glass under the dim glow of the streetlights. The air was cold—just like Shadow’s eyes. You were staring into them, but his mind was somewhere else.
“How many times do I have to tell you?” he muttered, his voice almost lost in the wind. “Stay away from me.”
You swallowed hard. You had expected him to push you away, but not like this. Not this harshly.
“Shadow, why are you doing this?” Your voice trembled. “Don’t tell me you don’t care, because I won’t believe you.”
His fists clenched. He turned his gaze away from you, as if accepting your words would only make things worse.
“Caring…” he repeated, his voice distant. His red eyes gleamed for a moment in the darkness. “Everyone I’ve ever cared about is dead.”
A chill ran down your spine. Maria. Professor Gerald. His past was darker than any shadow he could ever cast.
“All I had left was revenge,” he continued, his voice like stone. “But then you… You stepped into this darkness and tried to change something. But you don’t understand, do you?”
His eyes met yours. He was angry. He was broken. And worst of all, he was afraid.
“If I lose you too, I won’t recover.”
Silence. Only the sound of the rain remained. Then, slowly, you reached out and touched his trembling hand. He almost pulled away—but instead, for the first time, he held on.
“I’m here, Shadow,” you whispered. “And I’m not going anywhere.”
That night, in the cold rain, for the first time in a long while, Shadow didn’t feel so alone.
Alright then how about Shadow and the reader heading out on a camping trip oneshot

Campfire
- Shadow the Hedgehog x Female Reader
The gentle crackling of the campfire was the only sound filling the quiet forest. Moonlight filtered through the treetops, casting a silvery glow over the campsite, while countless stars stretched across the sky above. You pulled your knees to your chest, hugging them as you sipped from your warm drink, sneaking a glance at the figure sitting beside you.
Shadow sat with his arms crossed, his red eyes fixed on the fire, his expression unreadable as always. Even in the dim light, his dark fur contrasted sharply against the warm glow of the flames. He hadn’t spoken in a while, but that wasn’t unusual. Shadow was always quiet, always lost in thought.
“You know,” you said, tilting your head with a playful smile, “camping is supposed to be relaxing.”
Shadow barely glanced at you. “I am relaxed.”
You laughed softly. “Shadow, you look like you’re preparing for an ambush.”
His ear twitched slightly, but he didn’t deny it. Instead, he finally looked at you, eyes lingering on your face for a moment before turning away. “It’s… peaceful here.”
That was rare, hearing him admit something like that. You smiled, resting your chin on your knees. The fire flickered between you, casting shadows across his sharp features. For a moment, you just watched him, letting the quiet night surround you both.
“The stars are so clear out here,” you mused, looking up at the sky. “It’s beautiful.”
Shadow followed your gaze, his eyes reflecting the starlight. He was silent for a long time before murmuring, “I used to look past them.”
Your chest tightened slightly. He didn’t say it, but you knew. The Ark. Maria. The life he lost.
Without thinking, you reached out and gently took his hand. Shadow stiffened slightly, surprised by the sudden contact, but he didn’t pull away. Slowly, he turned to you, crimson eyes searching your face.
“But now,” you whispered, giving his hand a light squeeze, “you’re here.”
His gaze lingered on yours, something unreadable flickering in his expression. Then, in the softest movement, he gave a small nod. No words were needed—he understood.
The night stretched on, the fire slowly dying down, but neither of you moved. There was no rush, no need to fill the silence. Just the warmth of the flames, the cool breeze rustling the trees, and the quiet presence of the one beside you.
And under the stars, sitting next to Shadow, you knew there was nowhere else you’d rather be.
a/n: This was supposed to be the yandere headcanons remake but it ended up being one-shot instead. Oopsie! Also, I didn't know how to categorize it. It's not quite suggestive but it's also not really sfw? I dunno, you guys tell me lol.
Shadow stood outside of your apartment's kitchen window, his hand twitchy as it hovered over the windowsill. His hand closed into a fist as he steeled himself. He needed to see you. He hadn't seen you all day and he was worried. What if something had happened to you? He wasn't even sure if you were home, even though you should be. He knew your schedule, he memorized it.
And you deviated from it.
Shadow grabbed the edge of the barely cracked open window, lifting it slowly yet impatiently until it was all the way opened. He put one foot onto the sill, slowly lifting his body inside. Sadly, his foot shifted and he knocked over one of your succulent plants, falling over with a clack and almost falling off of the sill. Thanks to Shadow's quick reflexes, though, the pot it was in didn't break. He set it back down onto the windowsill and let out a breath. His reprieve was short-lived, however, when the creak of a door and the plod of bare footsteps was heard from down the hallway.
Shadow quickly slid himself out of the window and hopped onto the tile floor of your kitchen, hiding himself under the table. So you were home. He was glad to know you were safe, but angry that he wasn't able to protect you at all times today.
You rounded the corner, wearing your favorite fuzzy slippers, and a disheveled robe. Shadow blushed heavily, you were only wearing a tank-top and panties underneath! How uncouth! You should be dressed properly, and comfortably, for bed. Shadow watched as you passed by the table and opened the fridge, grabbing your water purifier. You moved over tot he cabinet next to the window and stopped, staring at it. Shadow stopped his breathing, his heart rate high. Do you know that he's here?
"Huh. Thought I closed that," you say, a yawn forming mid-sentence. You close the window and grab a glass form the cabinet, filling it up with the water from the purifier. Putting the purifier back, you start heading back to your room, drinking your refreshing water along the way.
Shadow got up, silently following you. You were so sleepy that you didn't even notice him following you. Yet another reason why he has to protect you. You don't even pay attention to your surroundings.
You set the now-empty cup on your nightstand, flopping onto your bed unceremoniously. Shadow watched form your door as you started softly snoring in minutes. He chuckled to himself quietly. Your antics were cute to him, one of the many qualities he liked that he'll never admit.
Shadow made his way over to you, his hand hovering over your arm for a moment before moving his bed down to your comforter and sheets, tucking you in, making sure you're comfortable. His eyes trailed back up to your face, taking in your sleeping features. He sat down on the side of the bed, his hand moving up to lightly touch your cheek. You're just so beautiful. He wants to keep you safe, where nobody can hurt you. Where nobody else can touch you.
Shadow leaned in, his face barely touching yours, as he stared down at your lips as you softly snored. He closed his eyes and leaned in a little bit more... Before stopping, dipping his head down. He can't steal a kiss from you like that. He'll wait for you. After all, he's your only protector. He'll wait patiently by your side forever.
He leaned away, sliding his hand down your face, lightly touching your neck as it traveled down, passing your chest, tracing in-between your breasts before finally settling down at your hip. Shadow shifted his position on the bed, laying down next to your sleeping form, his hand still on your waist. That's when you suddenly moved in your sleep, stretching before tossing to your side, hugging onto Shadow. His face flushed as you held him to your chest.
Shadow's eyes were wide in shock. His body was tense, he wasn't use to being held. The last time he was held was... His eyes welled up with tears. He held you back, though a bit tightly. He laid there in your arms, feeling safe. He was supposed to be the one to protect you, though, wasn't he? Now he's being protected by you. He knew you were special. You belong to him.
Shadow closed his eyes. Maybe he'll just stay there for a few more minutes....
The night wrapped your room in darkness, the only source of light being the faint glow of the moon filtering through your window. Everything was still—too still. Yet, you couldn’t shake off the feeling of being watched.
A cold shiver ran down your spine as you hesitated before stepping out of bed. The air felt heavier, almost suffocating. That’s when you saw it—a figure emerging from the shadows.
Your breath hitched.
“There’s no need to run, love.”
That voice… Deep, smooth, and laced with something dangerous. Shadow.
You turned on your heel, heart pounding, aiming for the door. But before you could take a single step, darkness coiled around your limbs, holding you in place. The fear that crawled up your throat made it impossible to scream.
Shadow moved closer, his sharp gaze fixated on you, his presence overwhelming.
"You're trembling," he noted, tilting his head slightly as if fascinated. Then, with a slow, deliberate motion, his fingers traced along your cheek. His touch was cold yet possessive.
“I would never hurt you.” His voice was a whisper now, dangerously soft. “But I won’t let anyone else have you either.”
You swallowed hard, your pulse racing as he leaned in, his breath ghosting over your skin.
"You're mine."
There was no escape. The shadows had already claimed you.
hii, can I request a yandere shadow who grows to be obsessed with y/n?
A/n: meant to post this sooner
Yandere!Shadow x reader
It started subtly, almost innocently. Shadow wasn’t the kind to dwell on others. He preferred solitude. Yet, you weren’t like everyone else. You didn’t except him to change, or provoke him, unlike certain hedgehogs, you actually respected him.
One day he was injured, badly he ended uo infrint of you. He was about to leave before you insisted on helping him, despite him trying to decline.
"Its okay to ask for help every once in a while you know." You said while wrappibg bandage over his injury.
He had scoffed at the time, muttering something about being fine on his own. But the warmth of your hand on his arm lingered long after you let go.
Shadow’s curiosity about you grew steadily. He didn’t understand why, but he found himself watching you from afar. The way you carried yourself, the way you interacted with others, it fascinated him. You had a spark, a light that he couldn’t look away from.
At first, he told himself it was harmless. After all, he was just... observing. It wasn’t as if you’d notice him lurking in the shadows, his eyes tracking your every movement.
But then, he started seeking you out intentionally. If he knew you were going to be somewhere, he made sure to be there too. If you were talking to someone, he’d position himself close enough to overhear. He didn’t need to interact, just being near you was enough.
For now.
It didn’t take long for Shadow’s feelings to evolve. The idea of you being with anyone else, laughing with them, trusting them the way you trusted him, filled him with a rage he didn’t fully understand. You were kind to everyone, but the thought of your kindness being shared made his chest tighten uncomfortably.
He started interfering in subtle ways. If someone asked you out, they’d mysteriously back out at the last moment, their enthusiasm gone. If you planned to meet friends, sudden circumstances would force them to cancel. He wanted you all to himself, and he was willing to ensure it happened.
The first time you noticed something was off, you brushed it aside. It was completely reasonable none of your friends could pick you up, forcing you to walk, and run into Shadow on your way home.
"You shouldn't walk alone at night, ill walk you home"
And while you appreciated his concern, you couldn’t shake the feeling that his presence wasn’t entirely accidental.
As the weeks went by, more "coincidences" occurred. You started seeing Shadow everywhere. If you mentioned needing help with something, he’d show up before you even had a chance to ask. If you stayed out late, he’d somehow be waiting for you when you got home.
Shadow’s obsession with you consumed him. His thoughts were dominated by you, your voice, your smile, the way you made him feel. He didn’t recognize himself anymore.
The once controlled, shut off, independent, supposed "ultimate life form" had been replaced by someone who couldn’t function without you.
He started collecting things, small things of you. A scarf you left behind, a note you scribbled, even a strand of your hair caught in your comb. He kept them hidden, locked away in a box that he’d never let anyone else see.
But it wasn’t enough. He needed more.
The day Shadow’s control slipped was the day you tried to pull away. You’d started to notice more and more how he changed, and he Slowly became too much. When you told him you needed space, his reaction was immediate and terrifying.
"Space?" he repeated. "Why would you need space from me? I’ve done everything for you."
You tried to explain, but he wouldn’t listen. He onlystepped closer.
"You don’t understand," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "You belong with me. No one else can protect you like I can. No one else deserves you."
When you tried to step back, his hand shot out, gripping your wrist with a force that made you wince.
Hello Could I request a one-shot of yandere Shadow (Sonic boom) x Fem introvert reader
A/n: i honestly havent watched sonic boom yet, ive only warched a few episodes, haventvgitten ti shadow yet so these are probably not too accurate! (◞ ‸ ◟ㆀ)
Yandere!(boom)Shadow x shy reader
Life in Village is quiet, which suits you just fine. Usually its loud with everyone sticking their noses in everyone elses business.
You’ve always been more comfortable on your own time. It was just very tiring interacting with people. So you preffered times at night when everyine was asleep and you could wnjoy the peace. But lately, something feels… off.
At first, it was subtle. A shadow passing by your window at odd hours, the sensation of being watched when you were about to go to bed. You chalked it up to paranoia. After all nothing ever happened.
One evening, as you settled in on your phone, the hairs on the back of your neck prickled. You looked up, your eyes darting around the room. Nothing. Yet the feeling persisted. You tried to shake it off, maybe you were being paranoid? Yeah, that was it. Right?
Definitely...
...
It started innocently enough. Shadow appeared one day at the market, standing off to the side, arms crossed as he surveyed the area. He didn’t approach you, didn’t say a word, just stared. You couldn’t help stealing glances at him, wondering why someone like him was here.
The next time you saw him was at the edge of the forest near your home. He didn’t hide, didn’t make excuses for being there. He simply stared, his eyes locking onto yours.
Silence.
You stood looking back in stunned silence
He stepped closer, hyo movements deliberate. "You..." he began, his voice low as he trudged over.
As he stepped forwars you took steps back instinctively.
Shadow tilted his head, studying you like a puzzle he couldn’t quite solve. "You don’t waste time on meaningless chatter. You don’t seek the approval of others. You’re quiet... I respect that."
You blinked, taken aback. "Okay. Good to know?"
He smirked faintly before vanishing into the woods, leaving you with more questions than answers.
From that point on, Shadow made his presence known in subtle but unmistakable ways. A flicker at the corner of your vision. Footsteps trailing behind you, only to stop when you turned around. You had fewer and fewer times you truely felt alone.
It was unsettling, and frankly terrifying, but what were you going to do about it?
One evening, as you returned home, you found your front door unlocked. Panic surged through you as you cautiously stepped inside. Everything looked normal, at first. But then you noticed the changes. Your bookshelf, usually a mess, had been meticulously organized. The blanket on your couch was folded neatly. And on your kitchen table sat a steaming cup of tea.
"Who’s here?" you demanded, your voice wavering.
Shadow emerged from behind you, his expression unreadable. "Relax. You’re safe."
"What are you doing in my house?"
"Dont worry about it," he said simply, as if breaking into your home was the most natural thing in the world. "You should feel honored i wentbthrough the trouble of cleaning up your mess"
You stared at him, your mind racing. "You can’t just-."
"Shut up. I didn't do all of this for you to be complaining."
"But I didn’t ask for this!"
His gaze softened, but there was a dangerous edge to it. "You don’t have to ask. I know what’s best for you."
From then on, Shadow started inserting himself in everything you did. Every aspect of "your life" was slowly but surely going under his control. He'd give you small gifts, things he thought you would like. He'd insist on taking you from place to place. He even scared off a group of villagers who had tried to strike up a conversation with you, his glare alone enough to send them running.
"Why are you doing this?" you asked one night, exhausted and defeated.
He looked at you like the answer was obvious. "Because you’re mine. You’ll see," he said quietly, his tone passive aggressive. "One day, you’ll understand. No one can protect you like I can. No one can love you like I do."
A/n: hopefully these werent too out of character as ive only seen one clip of him in sonic boom
