It had been... Quite a bit since Ayato first stopped by Venuz Patrol. He’d given it a quick glance on his first day in the city, but that was about it. He knew drunk people were a little less wary with their money, and he’d proven that, walking out with a near empty sketchbook and quite a bit of cash in exchange. He drew whatever, be it a portrait, what he was feeling, or something specifically asked of him. He didn’t mind too much, he’d need it whenever he wanted to eat. Yeah, there was a complimentary restaurant at the hotel, but he’d like to be a little more self sufficient than that, at least most of the time. Hotel food usually wasn’t the most delicious, and it wasn’t like rent was THAT high.
This time, he was here for one reason and one reason only- to get incredibly drunk. No reason. Nothing bad had happened or anything, he wasn’t extremely distressed or extremely happy, but he felt like the trip might be worth it. He hadn’t really gotten drunk before. Yes, ghouls had blood wine, but... it wasn’t his taste, and it was expensive as hell. Not a 100 yen bottle from a convenience store, that much is for sure.
Of course, this place was still more dignified than that, but that was what he wanted. A nice inbetween. It might be fun, too, the general atmosphere of the bar. He wondered what he’d like. Probably would want to start with the “girly” drinks first.
Walking up to the bar, Ayato sat down in one of the stools, watching the bartender make drinks for a group of girls beside him. She was pretty decent at her job, all things considered. He’d originally wanted to be a bartender himself, but... Honestly, with his patience level, it might be smarter he didn’t deal with a bunch of drunkards on the daily. He’d probably try to smash somebody’s head open.
Looking over the drinks menu, he looked through for what looked possibly the most fruity, and called the bartender over. “Could I get a... Strawberry daiquiri, or whatever?”
