Contact Sheets
Last night I developed my films from the Yangil trip - two rolls of Orwo n74+ shot at box speed. My brother and I use a makeshift film scanner (consisting of a flatbed scanner, a piece of acrylic, and an iPad for backlighting) to make contact sheets.
I’ve started to save these contact sheets, as a way to study my documenting style, and as a way to sort through my negatives in order to keep professional scanning costs down. Also, they look neat as hell. I’m happy with how a lot of these shots turned out.
This is the last Yangil Tribe post I’m making for now. If you want to meet them for yourself (and I do recommend that you do so), sign up for a visit at http://madtravel.org/joiner-tours/tribes-treks-zambales/
