I can't really explain it but I like PB's take on the sin sloth.

A lot of people focus on the laziness part but I haven't seen many works look at the apathetic part of sloth.

Unlike most of the sins, sloth comes from a lack of something (motivation, desire, etc.) and Total indifference.

I yapped for longer than I thought

It confused me at first when Niflheim was announced to be a militaristic nation but it makes sense if I think about it. They're just doing whatever Belphegor tells them to do, they don't care to have agency or dependency. They do the jobs they have to do and leave. They go to other nations to assist and immediately go back.

It makes even more sense now with Agares' story out. Devils and Angels have been enemies since creation, even in the middle of a war those higher ups made a deal with some angel to curse a literal child. They didn't care about betraying devils or how this young kid's life was going to be ruined, possibly killed, by these actions because it doesn't matter to them and they didn't have to do any work to get him kicked out the temples.

These Noble men let other nations treat their home country like a trash heap, making the place they live in worst for everyone living there besides them of course. They get to lounge in the temple and spray perfume if the smell gets too bad.

This is how their sloth is destroying Niflheim from the inside out and none of the citizens are even interested in trying to fix this problem. They are completely numb to the thought of living in garbage for the rest of their days because no one can be bothered.

It's just a fun thing

Pangi cares about Lukey so much and today he showed it in a way that’s rare for him. Pangi doesn't always say what he feels, but he acts. Because as emotionally repressed and battle-hardened to express affection, protection is his way of showing care.

But today he could tell something was off. Lukey was quiet, distant, withdrawn. And unlike during the egg debate, where he spiraled into paranoia, this time actually he actually trusted Lukey. He didn't pull out his weapon when Lukey asked him to shoot, he broke the door when he saw Lukey just accepted his fate. He absolutely noticed how Lukey was off today.

He admitted to something big: that he blew up Pili’s base in a fit of rage. Even though the words were not spelled out, they were there - that he did it because he got angry after Lukey died, after he lost Lukey. That kind of honesty doesn’t come easy to him. For someone from Lifesteal, vulnerability is dangerous - it’s ammunition. and yet, he gave it anyway. To Lukey

And Pangi didn't deter he kept pushing Lukey for answers despite Lukey's multiple attempts to distract away from the topic. And when Pangi noticed that Lukey began hesitating, mentioning promises, pulling back further is when Pangi, too, stepped back. But not in anger. In understanding. He knows lukey is hiding something, but he’s giving him space and he's giving him time because he realizes Lukey clearly needs it.

He even heard Lukey talking to Newt, and instead of reacting with suspicion, he now wants to understand. He wants to read Lukey’s memory lane books in order to know him better.

He was trying to meet Lukey halfway today. He took a loud step forward which neither have dared to do in the past. He called the lab his "home" a second time - a place he shares with Lukey. And the only reason he hasn't said all his feelings to Lukey is because he's scared and not because he doesn't care.

Something something honesty is easy when it's instinct but terrifying when it's hope.

despite how regular it is i’m still always shocked to find that i’m one of the older viewers of hermitcraft that’s in the fandom. like, i consider myself one of the younger members i only started watching at the start of season 7 but like?! what do you mean you started watching in season 9. SEASON 10????!!!! am i old????
