All I'm saying is if transfem Jax theory really does end up being canon, the show would be doing something that is genuinely incredible.

How many characters can you name, in a story that is not centered on being trans, who only realize that they're trans half or most of the way through the story? Who then have to deal with the struggle that is adjusting to their new name, pronouns, the way that they're perceived differently now.

How many can you name where the fandom has to handle that adjustment too?

I want it to be messy and difficult because it's realistic. It's what I and every other open trans person had to go through when we first came out. But I've never seen this done before in a piece of media.

Whenever I talk about transfem Jax, I always feel the need to specify that I know I could be wrong. And maybe I am wrong. Maybe we've been seeing hints and patterns where there are none.

But I'm not going to feel bad about wanting better representation.

I just think it'd be nice.

Hes a decent height for polar bear standards but even then hes considered a little on the smaller side despite his physical strength 💀

but he had to adjust his diet so he wouldnt have so much blubber that would overheat him. [Blubber isnt like normal fat. So having a layer of blubber appropriate for the arctic would really put him at risk for heat stroke <:( ] So even tho hes still got muscle and blubber he aint got as much blubber as alot of the other polar bears 😔 hes a lil sad about it 😔

It does make it all the easier for Bianca to tackle him to the ground though 😭 hes always been featherpaws to her though 🥀 she will always win 🤭

Kwazii is basically just Barnacles leg in weight though 😭

Like there r taller species that can reach Barnacles shoulder easily but cats r well, pretty small snd even then Kwazii is considered a lil tall for a common cat 😭

The 1/8th of lynx in his lineage coming in clutch to give him a whopping one and a half inches extra 😭

Kwazii did actually start to properly fill out some after he joined the octonauts. Not just cuz he was older but also cuz he was just getting like proper meals 😭😩

Kwazii dreamt of a hefty build but alas 😔🫶 he still finds himself to be quite handsome with quite the roguish charm and its not like anyone can beat his speed and piratey skills sooo 💅

Anyways i think they love to hype eachother upppp (esp since they both have a competitive side lol) 💪💪💪💪 theyre just bros guys. Bromance. This is such a non-issue but I really dislike when people compare ‘Hikaru’ from TSHD to Nikki Freeman from Obsession. I get that they’re both possessed in a way, but Nikki’s story is meant to symbolise a woman having her autonomy stolen by a selfish man, while ‘Hikaru’s’ is about an entity learning to feel emotions and falling in love. ‘Hikaru’ and Yoshiki truly love each other. The real Hikaru is not suffering because of this, in fact, Yoshiki being not alone was what he wanted right before he died. ‘Hikaru’ is not being forced to love Yoshiki, he willingly loves him. Nikki on the other hand, was suffering. She was a victim and forced to ‘love’ Bear, a man who didn’t really love her back, but was instead just obsessed with her. Their dynamic stems from control and infatuation, not love. Contrasting this, Yoshikaru’s dynamic stems from love and self discovery after years of repression.

the last precure post got a surprising amount of likes so i might as well become even more niche. here’s nijee as all knowing and all agony from milgram (context below)

the train of thought regarding this combo was largely thanks to a roleplay im in currently with some close friends! usually i use roleplay to explore character dynamics, and through playing as nijee I sort of realized: he really is desperate for praise, wouldn’t he be?

in fact, I think even more so than his fellow thieves

with Haruka, he’s also a character desperate for recognition—a need to prove that he’s still someone worth paying attention to, no matter the cost. starvation of that fulfilling feeling could also lead to the desperation Nijee felt in episode six.

i remember he said something along the lines of, “if i cannot defeat the precures, I have no life ahead of me!” it reminds me a lot of these things Haruka said in his second voice drama

and again, we currently have not seen any other thieves act this desperately. perhaps we will be able to see all of them breakdown some day, but for nijee to do it first also means something to me. he’s the most desperate of them all for this approval, even arguing with the others when they’re chosen for a mission.

i might just be crazy and projecting my biases onto this green fuck but ! it’s something I’ve thought a lot about regarding him. thank you for reading this far

I may have only watched a total of like 2 hrs of Tf!water yesterday but I am alr obsessed with him and Tf!marm :p

I am going to do a small rant post abt mainly Tf!water and just things I’ve personally noticed so like, bear with me cause I may be delusional lmao.

Okay! Some character things I’ve noticed from Tf!water—

-Water uses writing and his stories to escape from reality. World’s he can manipulate to his own liking. Universes where he gets to control what goes on. A stark contrast to the uncontrollable unpredictability of the rushing rivers and endless seas. I found this parallel interesting :3 Using writing as an escape is always so fun in characters (and something I’ve totally never done because that would be crazy)

-Before water and the Feliz group teleported, water was taking in deep breaths to calm his anxiety and nerves. I also found the parallels to this interesting, because using breathing as a grounding method when you have an irrational fear of water is a cool contrast. If you’re afraid of drowning, even subconsciously, your brain developed taking in deep breaths to calm yourself because it’s a reminder. You are here. Alive. Breathing. Fine for now.

-Water and Marm are inseparable but they also share slightly different mindsets which I find interesting. Water is quick to judge characters and quick to shove people away, only sticking to people he’s already familiar with (in this case marm) for the most part. (SASSY WATERMUNCH WE LOVE YOU FOREVER OMG YOU ARE HILARIOUSLY FUNNY AND AMAZING) While Marm from what I can gleam on the other hand wants to believe the best in people. She isn’t naive by any means, just compared to her brother who can be a little bit pessimistic at times, she seems to have a greater goal in mind, and will work to that goal with a more positive outlook. The world is horrible and she tries to fix it. With water, the world is horrible, and he tries to escape it.

-My next point!! Marm seems to want to fix the world while Water seems to want to escape it. “Aren’t we here to help?” -Marm. “The world is a cruel place” -Water. At the same time though, Water will read the stories he creates to escape reality to his sister, and her sister will travel off to her brother’s fantasies for a while. And Water will come back to reality to try and help his sister fix the world’s problems as well.

-They’ve both been wronged by the world in many different ways, growing up without parents, being bullied etc etc. But they both had different but very similar responses which I find interesting :3

-THE SIBLING BONDDDDD. “If you wrong my sibling I would not hesitate to burn you and this whole place to the ground” -Water and Marm probably. Cause like, when catguy (names?) pushed Marm into the portal and Water then threatened him with a spray bottle and honestly was really scary and mad and pushed him in the portal as well. But then as soon as Marm came out of the mysterious portal, water did a personality turnaround and started to comfort her and asked if she was okay <33 awwwwh. The main question to this is, how far are they willing to go? I mean, pushing someone into the portal as revenge isn’t that bad morally, but if something worse were to happen to marm or vise versa? Would they surpass morals for their sibling? Do things that are objectively wrong and evil, for the benefit of the other? Hmmmmmmm.

-The fact that Water reads their stories to Marm. like, idec, thats totally not the most adorable thing I’ve heard ever lol.

Why Dreamland Rush is the perfect PO pairing (in my opinion)

The main reason why I think Hondo and Sandman could probably make the best couple out of any of the Wii cast is primarily due to their personality and motives

There isn’t much to go off canon already (admittedly these characters don’t have much personality going on for them,) but Hondo and Sandy seem to have the most compatible ones. Hondo is shown to be proper, serious, and hardworking. Sandman is also serious and hardworking, just a lot more stubborn. Every other characters personalities don’t match as much, ranging from either pathetic, goofy, or pure rage most of the time.

I think their work ethic and less playful personalities definitely best suit each other compared to other ships. They’re also a bit short tempered too, which I think can add onto that.

Additionally, I think they’d have the most respect for each other not only because of that, but probably because they both have the most sanity out of their coworkers. So there is this mutual understanding of “thank god you aren’t as bad as the rest of those idiots”
