Okay well I feel like the whole “don’t trust your client” thing was obvious. Like obviously he wasn’t telling the whole truth (or just flat-out lying) yadda yadda yadda
He does make a good point though, that if an office worker with dislike for strenuous physical activity (me too bro) can pressure people and wander around a whole underground black market so causally, clearly there’s something up, we just don’t know what.
could it possibly be that he’s been there before? the only reason why I say he wouldn’t is because I feel like that would’ve been mentioned somewhere.
the carries special drugs thing I probably won’t touch on much because we’re aware of his pharmaceutical background as Gatto and whatnot, but yeah, mysterious drugs, maybe a little suspicious

obviously he’s hiding things too. he doesn’t seem to blatantly lie about things but oh does he like walking his away around the truth by hiding things. Everything coming with a price but his overall air of just “oh-ho I know things but you don’t”
yet he still gave Lady Truth some bits of information anyway?? like I suppose her working on the case does help with calming things down in the underground and due to him being a powerful person in he underground black market, he’d likely want it to remain low-key and hidden. and y’know. having a whole heist go down in the area wouldn’t exactly keep the place a secret. so. it benefitted him in some way, which I think somebody said that he’s only in it because he’ll benefit iirc.
also does him saying “possibilities in the future” imply a return in later events from him?? I mean hopefully, he needs more screen time, I feel like he kinda lacked it in this event until the end, and even then…

unless this ties into the fact that whatever Antimony sent out was intended for Iridescence to receive, and by allowing Truth to question her about it, it might complicate Iridescence properly receiving it (also may impede further communication, although I feel like that already may be tricky with the situation she was previously in).
We don’t know who that was intended for though (we don’t know ANYTHING AAAAAA)

Obviously while “Aurora” may have been a goal of Ulliel [or Gatto’s personally, mentioned in my previous ramble that he may have wanted to get his hands on the gem himself (also the fact that it’s HIS accessory)], but it clearly wasn’t their main goal (or Gatto’s main goal)

AAAAAAAAA I hate how little the last chapter told us.
again, the fact that Ulliel wants to keep this a secret from the public and is willing to pay people to make it so, clearly there’s more to it, but that’s not something we know
you could either interpret this as him lying about it being a goal of Ulliel as a whole, rather having ties to his personal goals, or that there’s more to what happened that both Ulliel and Iridescence are letting on. or both. probably both.

what does he mean by a “real case” though? like was this not a case? or was it perhaps staged in a way, y’know with how he’s hiding things, maybe he did play a role in organizing it in some way. who knows. they didn’t tell us anything I’m so mad 😭
I’ll probably continue this once I give it some time to sink in and I mull over it a little more
