house update:

DRIVEWAY! which we can’t park on for a while, but yayyy!!!! AND THE REST OF THE GRASS IS IN. we’re going to put hydrangeas in front of the house under the double window.

HOUSE UPDATE:

THE BACK YARD IS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also there is some grass out front already!!!!!!!!!!! the rest will be done after the driveway is finished.

THANK YOU! we got a big black metal table too. the chairs and table are going to end up in the yard. i have a 2 seater glider otw that will be on the porch. but this stuff has to stay up here until the grass has had a chance to settle or whatever. we’re having concrete poured for a shed that we’ll put in like a year or 2 from now, so i’ll probably treat it like a patio and put the table and chairs there for now. I REALLY WANT A HAMMOCK THOUGH. but then i’ll just nap all day in my hammock sooooo............................

they brought in dirt and filled in today. they’ll be back friday to work on the sod etc. I’M FREAKING OUT.

House update:

THEY HAVE STARTED ON THE YARD!!!!!!

I have a million before pics, but I’ll update with pictures as the work progresses.

I just have to say that the yard here is awful. AWFUL. Growing up in this house, we played outside all the time and it was like having one massive sand box. We’re close enough to the beach that we don’t have SOIL. So I’m very much looking forward to having a GARDEN with VEGETABLES!!! And grass???? So my kids can play??????
