I dunno what to call this. Insane!Murder!Anderson, I guess...

TW: Torture and character death. 

Gregson, Lestrade, Anderson, Sally, Anderson, Sherlock

Anderson grinned at Gregson, walking forward slowly. Gregson still refused to believe this was Anderson. There was no way it could be Anderson, who would give you his left arm if he thought you would need it, Anderson, whose sarcastic view on life could make him smile, and yet here he was, facing a man who looked like their Anderson, but really, he was someone else all together.  Torn to shreds, built up as someone new. And still he was being broken, Gregson could see it in the marks marring his arms and legs, the ring around his neck, and the  scars he seemed to be sporting now. One through his lips, cutting through his cupid's bow and right cown his chin, his hands and arms.... but that was not Gregson's primary concern at the moment.

He reached Gregson, and traced his hand over Gregson's jaw, and pulled his pouty face. 

"Wel, well, well, who do we have 'ere?" He murmured into Gregson's ear, his hand tracing the curve of jaw, and his face making a mockery of Anderson's gentle expression reserved for small children and on ocassion, Sally. Gregson caught the pale scared hand in his own, and glared down at the man infront of him. 

"You're still in there, Anderson." He said simply, keeping his hold. Anderson's face tendered,  

"He's really not." Gregson released Anderson's hand, which was his mistake. A huge one. Anderson placed his hands on the sides of Gregson's face, sliding the hidden blade from his sleeve, and before Gregson could react, he was dead, and Anderson stood over him. 

"Sorry." He said simply. 

By the time Mycrofts camera's located Gregson and Anderson, it was to late.  Anderson was once again gone. Dimmock ran forward, and saw Gregson on the floor, Sally had to hold him back, seemed like he'd lost all sense of anything and was scrabbling in her grip. Sally released him, and he dropped to his knees, reaching for Gregson as the EMT's drove him away. 

And Dimmock only had one thing to say. 

"It's not the real Anderson. " 

And everyone agreed.

The Super Secret Scotland Yard Boy Band

Anderson once nicked computer speakers for him to use with his iPod. (While Lestrade was pretty sure the computer at the lab did not need speakers, he does not question it.) There are times that he plays out some jazz, R and B, the classics. When Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgetting" plays, he sings along, with feelings. One time, he just hits shuffle, and then Blue's All Rise plays. (Oh of course. The iPod once belonged to his daughter.) He sings along - sort off. He knows some words. But he carries on. Dimmock walks in, he is about to ask for news on the evidence for his case, but he then sees Anderson singing to All Rise. He then mocks him by singing along, and when Anderson sees him, he tries to explain. And he realizes Dimmock knows all the words. Now it's Dimmock's turn to get all red. He fumbles around, and then Anderson just laughs and says, "Shut up and just sing along." Within a few minutes, they're singing to All Rise AND Too Close. Lestrade hurries down to the lab, expecting results from the evidence gathered from the Doherty murder. Instead, he finds two idiots who think they are in a boy band. Anderson looks at his feet, and when another round of Too Close plays, Dimmock goes for broke. He sings, loudly, playfully, that soon, Lestrade's "I am gong to kill you" face turns to a smiling one. The duo becomes a trio, and now Westlife is involved - as per Dimmock's request. Sally Donovan has a message from the chief. "I don't want to know." she says and walks away, forgetting what she came for in the first place. (Sometimes, the three of them invite John, when he's around the Yard. They don't really need to say it out loud, but they are glad to help him in whatever way they can.)
