Hux: "Kes Dameron wants to hybridize the cowplants with regular plants to change the flavor of their milk."

Suralinda: "What flavor? Cowplants eat people!"

Hux: "Actually, they spit them out more often than they commit to digesting. Trouble is that even after a few seconds of a sapient having been locked in the maw, the milk is considered spoiled for days. Unsellable."

Suralinda: "You wouldn't have learned that from experience, by chance?"

Hux: "Yes, I did!"

Suralinda: "Now that's something to report!"

Poe: "You misunderstand..."

Poe: "He knows that not because he got swallowed, but because he drank a sample after the Andersons' matron bit dad last month. Can you imagine?"

Hux: "It was for science. And the result was that there is no difference to regular cowplant milk."

Finn: "You could still make this trip a success if you wrote a feature about cowplants."

Suralinda: "I need something interesting!"

Finn: "Our jungle expedition, then! We unearthed documentation that helps to more correctly interpret the Massassi Circle of Life."

Suralinda: "Anything good on this moon?"

Hux: "Excuse me."

Poe: "The colony is about to vote on building a hydro electric power plant in the jungle! Would that...?"

Hux: "Forget it, Dameron! Anything less than that thing exploding into my face is not of interest to the public."

Suralinda: "What he said. All of what you told me would go over nicely in the local system's news, but not galaxywide."

Poe: "Whoa. I haven't seen Hux so ready to murder since the siege of Crait..."

Finn: "He killed three troopers when we fled from the Steadfast?"

Poe: "Yes, but that was business. You can tell he's all fury inside right now."

Hux: Not interesting? Not important? You bitch! These are our lives! If only WE had a full grown matron, too, then we could test how alien-flavored milk tastes... after the full week of life digestion!

A bit of nightmare fuel:

While cowplants are animated to swallow a sim whole in the game, their bodyplan suggests that they function more like Venus Flytraps: Trap pray and then slowly digest.

There is a moment after trapping when the rl plant checks whether the prey is comfortably digestable and if not, it's let go. That aligns with cowplants spitting out sims the first time in Sims 4 (unlike their Sims 2 counterparts, who eat anybody).
