Glorious day for a late afternoon roll over to the little park close to us. I was going seriously stir crazy here, and really needed to get out and move around some in the sun.
Stupid post-viral fatigue or no, I just could not resist going off road for a while, for a serious change lately. (Not like it's rough terrain or anything, but that probably would have been more than worth it.)
Pretty popular place to be. Including for a couple of small family groups who decided to haul small grills along, for a little cookout picnic under the trees.
No food here, though some of the grilling smells almost made me want to barge in. 😊
But, there was the ground to stretch out on for a while, like a normal human being enjoying a little chill time in the sun. For the first time in several years, as I realized--and that was seriously overdue. Next time, I'll take something to lie on and hopefully be able to stay longer.
(And, maybe best of all? Nobody felt an overwhelming need to intrusively offer any kind of "help" when I was, indeed, so patently just chilling in the park with my headphones like anyone else there. 😑 That has honestly helped me not venture out as much as I might otherwise, because jfc limited enough energy already. But, a whole little stroll without that crap today!)

Unexpected good thing about the high winds Sunday night as it seems to have blown the bad weather away, yay! It was supposed to be crappy all this week but it cleared up yesterday afternoon and this morning it's still nice:)
