Postponed

I was supposed to report to the hospital this morning for parathyroid surgery. I have a parathyroid glad that has gone rogue and needs to be removed as it is pumping my body full of the parathyroid hormone (PTH) which is affecting my body’s ability to properly process calcium. BUT... I just received a call from my surgeon, he was up all night with an emergency and is back monitoring that case this morning. I have to say that his honesty in saying that he was exhausted and wanted to do my surgery when he was not, was appreciated. Anyway, my surgery has been postponed until next week. Relieved mostly, even though I’ve been revolving my life plans around this surgery for a couple of weeks now.

now I just have CS to worry about

which is a fuckton to worry about okay but I have an entire day devoted to it, after my last few half days of devoting my time to it. i do not know if i am going anywhere with it.
