“Relax,” Whumper murmurs. “You’re so tense all the time.”

“I don’t want this.” Whumpee's voice cracks with anger or fear. “I hate it.”

Whumper chuckles low in their throat, not stopping. “That’s exactly why it works. If you didn’t hate it, I’d be wasting my time.”
