The weird thing about being an adult is that sometimes you hear a song that transports you to the most horrible, miserable, isolating time in your childhood, a song that you probably didn’t even like when it was new, and now you go, “WOOHOO! YEAH! TAKES ME BACK!”  Takes me back to WHEN? When I was crying curled up in a ball next to my bed because I was so sad and lonely? When I was being ruthlessly psychologically terrorized by mean girls at a sleepover where this song was playing in the background? I DON’T KNOW BUT IT SLAPS!! GOOD TIMES!!!
