development - opening title sequence title sequence version 1 This is the first 18 seconds of my opening title sequence for The Jumblies. I have animated the layered illustrations posted before. I think that even though there are a few adjustments I need to make and I need to complete the whole 30 seconds, I am on the right track and I like the look of the animation. I know exactly what comes next because of my storyboard, and I have started the digital illustrations for these scenes, I just need to animate them. In my tutorial, Scott suggested some things to make my animation look better, run smoother and give an extra little something to the finished outcome: - Easing Keyframes: this will make the motion of the sieve and other objects look more professional and smooth, so the scenes do not look jolty. - Depth: at the moment some scenes my animation looks like it is in only two planes, for example the part with the cakes. To add depth and ‘excitement’ to some of these scenes I could bring some objects in front of the sieve as it moves past them. - Colour Change: to add more movement and dynamic to some of my shots, Scott suggested that I could put in some subtle colour changes to some of the drawings.
