But you cannot trust me with the content of my burgers, I am so sorry to inform you, but I think grilled pineapple on burgers is amazing (it's a very Australian thing) and our KFC regularly used to release a burger with pineapple on it and our Hungry Jacks equivalent does the same. Like this is a...fairly common-ish thing.
(Putting beetroot on burgers is also pretty common and the McOz at Maccas (McDonald's) has beetroot and is delicious)
It's also not that weird. People combine sweet and savoury all the time! Especially with meats. I'm team 'don't knock it till you try it' all the way. :D After that knock it all you want, just give me your pineapple so I can have extra
