YOUR NAME is KARKAT VANTAS. And you feel like a fucking tool. Around you are a bunch of your classmates/friends who are dancing way more seductively than you, at a level that would have them charmingly bring themselves to their dancing mates and prompt the grind-a-galore levels to go through the fucking roof. But, if some unfortunate soul on the sidelines of the dancing who happened to be dragged here by mistakes and the teenage fantasy that somehow their flush crush would walk across the room to them in flashing lights and shining sparkly bubbles were to see your sorry ass, they would compare your dancing to the grace of a seal. You are not at all being seductive, and even less charming when you bring your arms around your prom date's neck and almost end up choking him by accident.

Still, he is somehow laughing in a way that does not quite have you believing you have fucked up everything in your life, including dancing, which is just moving your flesh unit around, so your stomach settles down it's jumping through held-up jumping hoops when he lays his head on your shoulder and his glasses stab into your neck. You think, maybe, that he does not care about how bad you are at dancing. You are even starting to think that he likes it.
