I was waiting on the bus to go home from work. I happened to be wearing my lil BTS shirt I got off of Etsy (I wore it to a concert) and this guy rides up to me (he was on a bike). He said "I like your shirt,you like BTS?" I said "Not really any more I just wore this to work. I really like Got7." He then had the AUDACITY to say to ME a 13 year kpop veteran "Oh,I thought you only knew BTS....so which one your favorite member?" So I'm being polite,I answer him "Jin. He's my favorite" he then goes on to ask me my favorite album,and top 5 songs. Then it dawned on me! I was having an "If you like them name 5 songs" conversation!!! After I named them (fallen leaves,save me, epiphany,hold me tight and run) he continued to test me!!! He asked me if I liked "MonstaX's song Tempo" I was like "oh,you mean Exo? Yeah,I loved that song,the album was great too." He didn't even know the difference between GWSN and JWSN. He didn't even know who the Brown Eyed Girls were. Like sweetheart,please. You're embarrassing yourself. Stop. I almost felt bad,but also don't try to gatekeep or assume that I don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. Kpop was my hyper fixation for YEARS! I know this shit like the back of my hand 😂 like is it ridiculous to be this mad over someone trying me when it comes to kpop? YES! But,did it feel good to politely let him know he chose the wrong person to test? YESSER!

You know how you guys were talking about how Aranea has a very self-focused interpretation of other people's thoughts? Mindfang kinda does too I've noticed, particularly in regards to the slave on her ship (Kanaya's ancestor?) and Mindfang thought she could have flushed feelings for her. We never get the other person's perspective on this so it's not obvious at the time but I don't think it's a stretch to say she might not have been as rosy about her captor as Mindfang wanted

Weird side effect of living with someone (I actually have noticed this with roommates before but I always had my own room with a door so it didn’t matter that much): I feel really uncomfortable relaxing? I feel like there’s always something I *should* be doing and if I’m not I’ll get yelled at? Obviously Frankie would never yell at me and in fact frequently makes dinner and has me sit down and read while he does that but it’s so hard to just chill out, like, ever.
