I feel liks tma has had both a positive and negative impact to my mental health and how i perceived the world in general.
Positive because i think the whole Fears Are A Entity concept really helped me cope with daily stress. Scared someone is maybe sorta following you? Oh, that's just The Hunt being fed. Horror movies? That's just The Dark/the Stranger at work there, don't mind them. Stage fright? The Eye's shenanigans. Fear of heights? That's The Vast being silly <3
Negative because I've been extremely obsessed with The Fears. Ranking them from least to most terrifying, constantly thinking about what fear hellscape i would end up in. Im not sure if i have been developing identity issues before, during or after listening to the magnus archives, but The Stranger has definitely amplified it. I don't think its very healthy to obsessedly think about my Fears and self-analyse myself (and others) to bits
.
