Honestly my job vibes pretty well with my autism. I get to organize a ton of shiny pretty things all day. I get to log tons of information about each item and then customers basically ask me to infodump about the wares.

And if i get frustrated or irritated, I can always go do some of the work that involves heavy lifting, which is such a good emotional regulator for me. I’ve always loved working out as a regulator and lemme tell you, getting paid $14/hr to do it is pretty great!

I’m even encouraged to stick to a schedule while being given the freedom to make the schedule myself, organizing it around group activities but overall getting to choose which tasks I do when :)
