my favorite songs from Year 2006

Hey, here are my playlists for Year 2006, this time also a shortened version of 20 best songs on YouTube Music. :)

Overall, a much leaner year than 2005, but still plenty of good songs to choose from. Song of the year was always going to be Muse, it just came down to 'Starlight' or 'Knights Of Cydonia'. Starlight is definitely the more catchy and popular song, but I decided to go the other way. Knights are ultimately the more quirky and creative song. I mean, how many songs do you know that are described as a mix of space opera & spaghetti western?

Also I had to include a video to the live performance of the song. Muse was the last concert I've actually attended, and it was an unforgettable experience. Even if I didn't see them at Wembley.

despite having such a promising band name, Fall Out Boy desperately sucks ass. what a bunch of talentless tryhards.

you know what's awesome though? Lacuna Coil. Actually making me appreciate hard rock/metal, a genre I'm usually meh about.

also Lordi's 'Hard Rock Hallelujah' might just be the only Eurovision song in history to make my yearly playlist. What a banger!
