Boarding House, Year 22

A new sim named Jovie moved into the 'hood, looking for a fresh start. She immediately got to know her new roommate. Despite Jovie being a shy knowledge sim and Valerie being a grouchy romance sim, the two get along very well... surprisingly.

Newly broken up from her long-time boyfriend George, Sofia decided it was time to do something with her life. She got a job in the business career and was able to go to work on the same day! She didn't need a man, she could do this all on her own.

Valerie gave birth to her secret love child with George, a boy named Van. Here's to hoping she can pass him off as Carmine's without any suspicion.

Val and Petra are trying so hard to bury the hatchet and become friends again. They used to jog together all the time, so maybe that will bring them closer?

Finally, Duke aged up into a child! He looks SO much like his father with that mischevious, lopsided grin! He currently has the good sense of humor and loser traits, and is a very playful Aquarius.

Year 22 - October / New Job Announcement

J hates  being stuck in one job for too long,  he needs change and now in his fifties he has decided to try working in the freelance programming career, hoping that working from home will give him less anxiety.

Fraser Family, Year 22

Things are still pretty difficult financially for the Frasers, especially with the interest on their loan going up every day, but they're making it work for their little family of three.

It won't be a family of three for too much longer, it seems. At thirty-nine years old, in a tiny one-room home, with a child that's about to be a teenager in a couple years... Rue just found out she's pregnant again. It wasn't bad news, not at all, she is a Family sim and part of her was a little sad to think she might never have a second.

After spending almost all day in bed, Rue got up when she heard the school bus rolling in. She wanted to spend some extra quality time with her son that afternoon.

Link got home with a promotion (Level 5!) and a nice bonus! They were able to pay off their entire loan and add a few things to the house, including a new crib for baby #2.

After sleeping all day, Rue was now anxiously waiting for the birth. She was pretty sure it would happen sometime during the night while everybody else slept... and she was right. Also, Link's main priority is to make his wife's bed while she's screaming her lungs out. What a neat sim.

It's another boy! His name is Atticus and he has the same hair and eyes as his mom!

Goran-Bell Family, Year 22

And last but certainly not least, we've got a completely new family in the 'hood this year! David, a Family sim, his husband Thomas, a Popularity sim, and their two adopted children, Skyler the Fortune sim and little Eliana, who has yet to truly discover her aspiration.

David is the quiet, broody type while Thomas is the more outgoing and boisterous one. They're still only in their late twenties, but they've been together for over a decade. Eliana was adopted first as a toddler and then Skyler came into their lives a little later, when he was almost a teen.

They definitely do not think their family is complete with just the four of them, so at least one more adoption is probably in their not-so future. They just need to settle into Melacoo River a little first.

Oh, I'm sure Eliana is thrilled to come home from school and find her dad shouting profanities at a busted water pipe. She just hopes the kids won't laugh and make fun of her at school tomorrow. It's already bad enough she's the new kid.

David and Thomas think it's important to always have meals together and talk about their days. Skyler got a part-time job in law enforcement, but other than that not much exciting happened.

Matthews Family, Year 22

With three mouths to feed and plans to move to a much bigger lot, Angel is spending every spare moment he can woodworking. On a good day he can make up to 5,000 simoleons.

Wren was promoted to Level 3 of the Repair career. It's a bit of a dead end job, as are all of the NPC jobs, which I've edited the wages of. At her current level, she'll only be making 190 simoleons. Perhaps a career change is in her future?

Everyone in this house is so shy, they never roll wants to see anyone. They're complete homebodies, choosing to work on skills and spending time as a little family.

The youngest family member aged up. Zoe is an Aries. While all four of her family members have 7 outgoing points COMBINED, she has ten all on her own. Other than that, she's pretty similar to her mom.

I'm obsessed with her already! Her being the only outgoing member of the family just screams "baby of the family".
