omg i FINALLY placed what song the verses of "imaginary friend" by gracie abrams sound like... "year 3000" by the jonas brothers!! Ahhh. it's been bugging me the past hour since i first heard it! Literally just sat there repeating the verse melody in my head until i kinda pictured/heard a little boy voice singing it and then slowly thought maybe mmbop and then after listening to mmbop thought of jonas brothers and then from there "year 3000" came to me and YES!!! (this happens to me a fair amount where a song sounds like another and i can't always initially place it but it's soooo satisfying when i finally figure it out)
