So through 2020 I started an adventure of eating foods the wrong way, mostly raw or foods that usually went with something and it's become sort of a challenge for me ever since I was in a truth or dare to take a bite of a raw potato. To show my acquaintances that they underestimated me, I ate a raw potato the size of my fist and it tasted like dirt. I did not enjoy it but they were impressed and that's good enough. So now I'm on a mission, and I've eaten all I can get my hands on. I know they might not he weird to some, but they're weird to my family. I'll try to remember the order.
A raw Potato - At least clean it first if you plan on eating one raw
Ginger root - YOU WILL DIE, OR WANT TO DIE
Watermelon crust - Disgusting, but I did it
Raw Garlic - I ate half we had left from a dinner plan, my mouth was burnt from the juices and I couldn't taste anything besides garlic for quite some time. Horrible mask breath.
Raw Cilantro - That leaf that sometimes appears in Mexican food? I think it's called Mexican Mint? Yeah, eating a whole leaf is just plain nasty. Horrible.
Apple Cider Vinegar -Thanks Unus Annus for the idea, I hated it
Vanilla extract - A whole bottle. Also disgusting but it helped with the vinegar
Chocolate Milk and an Egg - My dad had this as a breakfast back in his youth. Very... Weird combo. Not the worst, but still.
Raw Basil - Not too bad, at that point I had worse
Raw Mushroom - The problem was it had a distinct flavor that didn't jump out at you. Also that my brother said it probably grew off of feces so... Yeah. Thanks.
Grapefruit - I didn't expect this one. I thought a grape fruit would taste like a grape. Like, a grape and orange mix. It did not. Very sour and I dislike sour. I got scolded cause I was suppose to have it with sugar on it. I ate half the grapefruit plain. Disgusting.
Peppermint extract - OH GOD IT WAS HORRIBLE! TERRIBLE! LIKE, I HATE MINT, WHY DID I DECIDE "HEY I SHOULD DRINK THIS"?!
And that's been it. And at the start of December, nearing the end of this disastrous year, I had no idea what I wanted for a present. So, as a sort of look back, my dad has agreed to buy me an onion. Not a purple onion, the yellow ones. That's all I want. But if there is any more suggestions, I'd love to know. I only got a few weeks left.
