Happy New Year 2026!

2025 was definitely not the best year for me. I felt lonely, invisible, and broken since my birthday. Things are not going well on the blog (and to be honest, the atmosphere at my home is not the healthiest).

But the New Year's celebration nevertheless brings me joy, including the fact that I will somehow return to the ranks and prove that I can do something. The decision to show you my characters also inspires me greatly!

Thank you for your likes this year. I don't know if I've deserved anything more.

welp... 2025 is almost over folks!!

honestly that really hard to believe </3 I reread my year old posts and entries and look at the artwork and go wow, that was like, a day ago. I remember it so well. and then I realise a year has passed. wtfff!!!

this year has been cool. kinda weird maybe to mostly summarize it in fixations, but I do remember everything better that way so pff who cares. the 2024 ended and 2025 started with AI gang, Stanley parable also was here, then dogman movie happened to me and I read some of the books.

and then BAM. APRIL. HALF LIFE VR AI. I remember how it happened - I saw one particular art with pc benrey sitting on Feetman's lap inkzects thankyiu for getting me into this whole mess w your art lolll and went HUH. ok, I've been seeing these weird guys on my Tumblr feed for some time now. wonder what's this media is all about. is it a game?

and then went OOHH BETTER (kinda), IT'S A SHOW ON YOUTUBE. and watched it :O)

honestly, if I had to pick, I'd say half life is def the media or the year for me. insane how late I am with these games and shows but like WHO CARESSS better later that never right!! at least I got into it!!! and I'm verry happy I did

then came other valve media, like a tid bit of tf2 (read all the comics and made some things, didn't spread further since my pc couldn't handle tf2 </33), I believe portal was here too - portal was kinda a fix through most of 2025, since I started portal 2 in the spring and only finished it in November I believe. I GOT STUCK ON ONE CHAMBER AND DIDN'T WANNA GOOGLE SHUDDAPP.

then postal 2!! I don't really remember how I got into postal tbh... but I really fell in love with it :) I played postal1 more and then went on to still cosplay portal2 dude (poser🙄🙄). it was my first cosplay ever and it turned out so wholesomee, I made a good friend and had fun and people were so excited to see me (will NEVER forget how a person in creepypasta cosplay was kneeling before me and making references I didn't yet understand teehee) . also can't NOT mention how nice tf2 cosplayers were - there were a lot of em and they're just such a nice gang🥺 I love tf2 fandom, and valve fandom in general

the summer was still postal themed I believe. then artfight, then college exams, I was busy and nervous. but I got in!! college already changed my life, and even though I have worries, I'm here to witness where it all gets me :)

autumn started with silksong coming out!! oh my GOD I still hardly believe it. I know I didn't really get into it yet, but cmon I've waited for years, now it's game's turn to wait for me. I have all the time in the world to get deeper (or rather higher) into the world of Pharloom

so autumn was a bit of silksong, then.... turbo.. oh yes I have to mention him.

this little bug of a man has been living in my head for over a year now. I love him dearly and hate him with a passion. I hope he explodes. huge thanks for getting me I'll with turbo disease to Randomalistic, I love how there's now a bunch of people insane about turbo bcs of your video. thank you thankyiy. the thing I wanted to say is uhh turbo is sorta always in my head, he's here to STAY FOREVER, so I just drew him more during September. can't pinpoint the time of turbo "fix" bcs it's simply always time of turbo fix, teehe

next was Haunted hotel! I love cartoons like this and I really fell in love with it, even showed it a couple of friends :3 I can't wait to see more episodes!!

and then... it all goes back to the beginning. to half life, and to hlvrai. it's still going, although there was a bit of portal fix in between this latest hl fix. it's all kinda natural so hard to pinpoint, I just cant always play hl games, they stress me out, and portal is way more peaceful. plus yuri :o) so I finished portal2, replayed portal1 a couple of times (I'm on my way to 100% it I just hate the few challenges that are left!!!) and got back to half life

there's been a bit of pony interest also, IT'S HARD TO IGNORE TEVSHAHA idk how it started since I've been seeing these few hlvrai pony arts/animations ever since getting into it all. seems like I just kinda.. remembered ponies exist, all of a sudden. I don't mind, I love ponies :3

so we're ending this half life year with half life! all as it should be

since I'm done with fixations, I should say something about the community. I love all the people I got here on tumblr - some I know from previous years, some I just met, but you're all cool :) you're the reason I so often open this app, the reason this site feels like second home and a safe place to vent, talk and be silly and share my art. half life and it's fans on Tumblr gave me a real sense of community like no other, and I'm very thankful!!! yay!!
