School hasn't even started yet and I've already started the Yearbook
GAH Whose idea was it to leave me in charge I'm like the youngest person here and nobody respects me.
It's really fucking stressful to try and plan out a yearbook over the summer when:
1. You don't even know if there is going to be a yearbook next year because the principal can't make up his mind.
2. Due to not knowing whether or not there actually will be a yearbook, you can't go onto the website that you're getting the yearbooks from (most likely Josten, as that's what we've always used) because you don't have any information to get onto the website and start planning.
3. Your co-editor doesn't fucking agree with anything that you say.
Secret from PostSecret.com
Not quite this, but I always loved having the power of putting really terrible pictures of very pretty people in the yearbook :)
Not so wonderful frustrations.
I am not happy with my yearbook staff right now. It isn't all of them just a few who need to get their shit together. They don't seem to be feeling the pressure of this deadline and they need to figure it out or they may meet bitchy Katelyn. And I don't care what that causes them to think of me as long as they get their fucking pages done.
And on top of that... Jeremy said he needed to talk to me today. What about? I don't know! And it is driving my crazy. Like so much so that I doubt I'll get any sleep tonight because of it.
Life as a Copy Editor
So I've spent 12 hours total editing, creating, designing, etc. on the yearbook. I think I've become addicted...
I was going through the yearbook tag and reading everything, all I could think was "OHMYGOD I'm not the only crazy yerd out there! THESE ARE MY PEOPLE!!"
