I low-key just realized I can post here whenever I want so have this little kiribaku scenario thought of mine I had
Kiribaku but it's Single dad Eijiro Kirishima with an absent mother and a kindergartner daughter and they his daughter comes home with some good grades so he promises her some cake from the little cafe down the block and she gets so excited she runs ahead of him to get inside but before he can he can run to grab her she runs into the legs of a man just waking out the cafe. He trips over her, stumbling but managing to catch both himself and her before they both fall. Kirishima jogs up, immediately apologizing to the man and picking up his daughter only to recognize him as the young "Heir" to that famous fashion brand, Katsuki Bakugo. Bakugo's immediate reaction is to Yell at Kirishima but he stops when he sees how worried he is, checking his daughter to make sure she's not injured before he noticed Bakugo dropped his coffee. He carries his daughter on his hip, apologizing to Bakugo again, offering to buy him another drink. Bakugo scoffs, shaking his head and mumbling something about "keep a leash on your kid". He tells Kirishima not to worry about it, he doesn't want handouts like that but kirishima insists, already walking inside. He gives his daughters order, gets himself a coffee, then looks behind him asking Bakugo what he ordered. Bakugo hesitates but tells the barista his order and Kiri pays for the three of them. While his daughter sits, working on one of her homework assignments -which was just to practice some basic addition and subtract problems- Kirishima apologized AGAIN to Bakugo, explaining his daughter was just really excited and didn't mean to knock into him like she did. Bakugo tells him to shut up and stop apologizing, just to teach his daughter patience. Kirishima agrees, mentions that since her mother left he's been doing everything he can juggling being a single parent and his demanding job as a fireman. Poor guy doesn't realize he's rambling until the drinks are called out and he begins to apologize for it only to stop once he catches the glare from Bakugo. Normally Bakugo would've cursed the guy out and left already but something about the guy drew him in. Maybe it was because of his young child. Maybe it was the way he was so effortlessly kind, despite Bakugo's social status. Kirishima didn't feel like the kind of guy to ask for handouts, not that he'd give one anyways.. but he let the man buy him a new drink despite having the money to buy it himself. Kirishima gave Bakugo his drink, dropping off his daughters cake and his own drink at the table before turning to him again. He mentions this won't happen again and he'll teach his daughter better behavior before he calls his daughter, gently telling her to apologize. She pouts but does so anyways, quickly running back to eat her cake. It was then the two part ways, leaving each other physically… But in the back of their minds and around the city, they'll always see each other.
