cheeky tip 01
the school library is your best friend!! find a nice corner at lunch and get a little bit of extra work done, it all adds up. super helpful if, like me, your schedule is full with sports or extracurriculars (netball for me, avg. twenty hours a week in-season). heckers, even if you just value your home time.
the. books. in. the. library. aren’t. borrowed. enough. especially if you’re doing a humanities subject, grab a book on your current topic and extend your depth of understanding. read even just two pages on the train or five minutes before bed, whatever you can squeeze in. try to read from a variety of perspectives, for me it’s super helpful when it comes time for evaluative analysis of sources in modern history. some books come with different interpretations of different topics already inside.
get yourself that extra edge. the library is there, and it’s free (lovely for a broke gal like myself).
cliché of the day: a little goes a long way, my friends.
