Indulge in the heavenly combination of Nutella and soft yeast doughnuts. These sugary treats are perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings.
Ingredients: 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast. 1/4 cup warm water 110F. 3/4 cup warm milk 110F. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/2 tsp salt. 2 large eggs. 1 tsp vanilla extract. Nutella for filling. Oil for frying. 1/2 cup granulated sugar for coating. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon for coating.
Instructions: Mix the yeast and warm water together in a bowl. Until it foams, let it sit for five to ten minutes. Combine the one cup flour, sugar, and warm milk in a separate bowl. Mix in the yeast mixture after adding it. Add the eggs, vanilla extract, salt, and softened butter. Add the remaining flour gradually and knead the dough until it becomes elastic and smooth. The dough should rise in a warm location for one to two hours, or until it has doubled in size. Cover the dough with a clean cloth. After pounding the dough, roll it out to a thickness of half an inch. Using a round cookie cutter or doughnut cutter, cut out doughnut shapes. Put a tiny dollop of Nutella in the middle of each of the half-donut forms. Place the remaining shapes on top of them and seal the edges by pinching them. Preheat the oil in a heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius. Fry the doughnuts carefully in batches for two to three minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown. Using a slotted spoon, remove the doughnuts and drain on paper towels. Combine the ground cinnamon and granulated sugar in a shallow bowl. While still warm, roll each doughnut in the sugar mixture. Enjoy your warm, Nutella-filled sugared yeast doughnuts!
