Kinda liked that they explored the world and described it deeper? FUN FACT I was planning to draw a lil comic about young Stoick and Valka and explore there idea in which Valka originally came from different island that was destroyed by dragons (and that's the reason for her ro be an outcast in a new place cus she has different views u know...) So when I saw the same idea in a movie I was both happily and sadly surprised ahah (like my idea was valid but I failed to draw it before the movie came out ahaha)

Astrid now has lore. I kinda didn't like that she wasn't supportive about Hiccup at first (like in the original movie) and that she was eager to become a chief (despite the fact that I was waiting for it to happen in the third movie, here I wasn't so happy about her desire for it to happen) But now... I kinda see that it works for her character? Anyways, it helped me to feel her pain more when Gothy chose Hiccup instead of her

Snotlout. Weeeell..... it's weird, no? Like I don't understand how can he be so self-confident with a father who doesn't even acknowledge his existence and avoids him... where the confidence comes from? Originally Snotlout was "better" than Hiccup as a viking and Spitelout was all for it, voting for his son. And it all changed when Hiccup trained dragons and became a badass dragon king, so Spitelout's expectations towards Snotlout became high. And that's when the well known "daddy issues" came from, no? Or am I wrong? In the LA it's all seems strange and out of pocket. Like they took Hiccups son-dad arc and also gave it to Snotlout but without deep explanation....... IDK Gabriel is still cute tho 😋

Twins... are good? Tuff is still funny, as for Ruff... it looked like they rewrite her character (obviously) and kinda lost the character in process. I didn't understand her LA character at all.. all I remember is her "girls girl" phrases... ig i gotta rewatch the movie to explore it more but I kinda... don't want to x)

Fishlegs is ADORABLE. like. yeah. that's all I wanted to say about him ahahaha

IDK what to say about Hiccup either, he seemed good :) Loved his emotional scenes, he is just a baby(((( and Stoicks actor played nice too, almost teared at the end

ALSO the pacing od scenes were very fast imho. Like I watched and felt like characters always needed few extra second just to properly react to the situation the experienced. But as I know it common problems of LAs...

ive seen people compare escape room, saw and cube together. i have seen all 3 franchises. which means if you're like "they're all basically copy and pastes of each other" a little too close to me, I WILL PERSONALLY BEAT YOU UP
