blaze paper crown au. her kingdom burns down to ashes. she can only look at the flames destroying everything. it’s what changes her and what makes her so cold afterwards. she’s never the same after that, she’s looking down at the scars that remain; the sol emeralds that she has to keep close despite being the source of the catastrophe she witnesses. all she is and ever was is compromised because of this. because of her and her flames no one survived and now she’s all alone, she waits and she hides. she builds her walls too high and tries her best to build her kingdom from scratch but to no avail. different enemies who are after her power never allow her to build it again. she knows that this will be her life from now on, there’s no one who is strong enough to save her heart, not even herself, she knows there’s no fairytale.
