Great eats!

This dining experience is. on. fleek. Interior is very classy and pretty during dinner time. J’s chicken breast bake is juicy and the sides are also tasty, but the real winner was my sous vide pork chops with brussel sprouts and butternut squash puree.
Saturday's, Are For Brunch
You know when you meet people, and you just instantly click. Well, that's how I felt about my new friend Victoria. First of all, she is absolutely stunning, second, she's got the legs of a gazelle.... And, i'm sure all of my fellow tall girls out there can attest to this, but is it not the most amazing thing when you finally find a friend that is just as tall as you, if not taller. It's like... Where have you been my whole life, and can you come with me wherever I go, so I don't feel like an amazon around everyone else LOL. Besides our height similarities, Victoria and I very early on realized we have a similar love for food, and wanting to check out some of Edmonton's most buzzed about restaurant and cafe's. And although it was SO hard picking, we decided to hit up District for our first ladies date out ! ( But don't worry, we've got the next few Saturday's off too, so although this is the first, it definitely won't be the last ). Although District is basically a Instagrammer's wet dream, honestly - I think my favourite part was our server. He was SO pleasant, and quirky... And I don't know about YOU, but if I go to an establishment and it's cute, the food is awesome, and the service is crap... You are just not as inclined to go back. So I'm happy to report that, that was not the case here ! Next, can we discuss the food. I opted for the rice pudding, and then the Liege Waffle ( I think that's how you spell it at least lol ), as well as a Vanilla Latte. Talk about party in my mouth ! Victoria went with a black coffee and cinnamon bun, which looked like the fluffiest thing on this planet. All in all, I think it's safe to say we will both be back, soon ! Where are your favourite cafe's in good ol' Edmonton ?!
