A painting by local visual artist Lora Pallister. Lora's paintings are the inspiration for a unique photo session we are working on with FO Photography. Lora Pallister's paintings are so beautiful, you just want to climb inside them - and now you can! I-D Bohemia will create a stunning backdrop inspired by the colourful, textured work of Stantec Artist of the Year Lora Pallister for an exclusive photo session with FO Photography on October 21, 2019 at The Art of Cake. Come with your makeup done and Lily Grey Artistry will touch it up for you. Or, come with foundation, eyes, and mascara. Touch-ups include powder, blush, and lipstick. Book your spot for a truly unique photo session with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Nina Haggerty Centre for the Arts. From thenina.ca: Lora Pallister is a versatile visual artist with a keen sense of colour. She works each painting intensively over long periods of time, concentrating on small sections to create a quilt-like tapestry of colour on the canvas. With each painting, Lora experiments with different techniques while also strengthening her own intuitive colour sense. Lora is an artist at the Nina and has participated in several workshops and special projects. Her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows throughout Edmonton. In addition to her painting practice, Lora participates in the Nina’s dance program and performed in the annual recital of the Nina Dancers in 2019. @ninahaggertyarts @fo_photography @idbohemia @stantec @theartofcakeyeg @lilygreyartistry @weddingsbyanika #yeg #yegevents #yegarts #yegartist #yegbuzz #igyeg #abstractart #modernpainting #modernart #painting #acrylicpainting #canadiancreatives #canadianart #contemporaryart #lifeincolor #ihavethisthingwithcolor #nothingisordinary #creativityfound #art #artoftheday #artistsoninstagram #idbohemia #fundraiser #fundraising #givingtuesday #giveback #community (at Edmonton, Alberta) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3YfR4kgjZO/?igshid=1qcyj1bt7h4ux
