So sorry for that random last post. I had this crazy dream that I was highly convinced that Yellowcard’s final album was an in-depth concept record about a man winding the clocks of time, fixing his wrongs, and die peacefully in the house he grew up.

Had the honor of meeting my all time favorite band Thursday night. Ever since I heard Ocean Avenue back in 2004, I've been a dedicated fan. Their mix of distinct sound and moving lyrics are the very reason they will always have a special place in my heart. Their music has gotten me through every obstacle I've faced, from the frivolous teenage problems, to coping with the transition to college and missing my family and friends, to my dad's accident last year, to helping my family take care of my dad while continuing to work and attend college, to preparing for graduation in December. As we wait to see Yellowcard, I reflect on all the happiness and inspiration they have given me through their music. Their last album is no exception. This is by far their most emotional album, musically and lyrically.
