i personally wasn’t a fan of them hurting cinder the way they did without giving us any real explanation as to how / why she ended up losing her eye , her voice , becoming heavily scarred , & not really being able to control her left arm anymore without giving us anything other than  ‘ it is because of the maiden’s power ‘ & leaving it at that.  i want to know / see what happened on the tower that night along with the immediate aftermath resulting from ruby’s silver eyes.  the only thing i remotely liked about what they did to her this volume was showing that she may finally be realizing just how deep into salem’s plans she is & that she might be regretting her actions / choices she has made up until that point.  i don’t wanna go into a long rant because i’d be talking about it for a very long time but these are just the basic things i didn’t like.

☯- It was a relatively cool saturday afternoon, and Yang was feeling bouncy. Bouncy enough to have her headphones on full blast while she raced herself around the school. It was nice to be up and active. Right up until she nearly ran into a fellow blonde.

“Whoops, sorry!”

☯- She reacted without really looking at first, stopping to look up and take in the appearance of the man she had just very nearly knocked over. It made her smile brighten all the more. She had been hoping to see him.

“Oh, hey Jaune. I’m glad I ran into you. Well...”

☯- She snickered softly.

“Not literally. Anyway. Are you busy at all tonight?”
