“HELLO NEW FRIEND!” Lucy looked up to see Gigi and Faith crouching in her window, Gigi dressed in a bright pink hoodie and jeans with Faith in her classic yellow smiley face beanie.
“No” came Jason’s voice from the other room.
“Don’t listen to him” Faith said jumping into the bedroom that Lucy was reading in. “He’s NO FUN ALLOWED!”
“I AM FUN SMALLS!”
Gigi crawled into bed next to Lucy, “Soooo” gently pushing her book down handing her the bookmark that was on the bedside table, “we are going for snacks, our new friend has to join.”
Lucy couldn’t help but laugh as Faith threw a jacket at her.
“That’s Jason’s hoodie,” Lucy said looking it over.
“Even better” Faith shrugged before climbing back out the window followed by her best friend and newest member of the gang.

“It’s the final countdown!” Faith belted out the lyrics to the song playing the in the dead supermarket as Gigi pushed her through the aisle. Lucy skipping in front them grabbing all the snacks tossing them back to Faith.
Their merriment was cut off by Lucy running into five large guys standing ominously in the middle of the store.
“Oh sorry…”
“Watch it!” one of them snarled.
From her seat in the cart Faith’s body tensed as she glanced from the impending fight to Gigi who was busy taking a selfie of herself and Faith.
“HEY!” one of the other men yelled pointing to Gigi, “put that thing away.” as he motioned toward Gigi’s phone the glint of a gun under his jacket became visible. Lucy took a step back holding the box of Coco Pebbles in front of herself. Her eyes flickering from the men to the other two girls. Faith had moved from her lounging position and was now crouched in her cart. As Lucy’s eyes met hers Faith moved her head slightly to the right motioning for to move aside.
It all happened so fast. As Lucy took a step to the right Faith black flipped out of the cart. Her motion pushing the cart toward the men.
As her best friend flew up into the air, Gigi had knelt down letting the girl sail over her before stretching her body out shielding the shorter girl.
The cart caught one of the men causing him to fall backward. Startled the one who had yelled at Gigi pulled out his gun letting out a few rounds at the girls, they bounced off of Gigi’s now stretched out body.
Lucy raised her hands up. One to create a shielding around herself while the other she used her telekinesis to push the man closest to her into the gun man’s side.
Faith darted out from under her friend going low she swept the legs men’s legs causing him to fall his legs forward. Then lifting her foot Faith stomped down on the man’s knee dislocating it.
Gigi reached out covering another of the men with her hand.
Lucy used her powers taking three of the man’s guns making them float above them turning them on the gang.
The sound of sirens could be heard outside. As the men knelt down on the grocery store not wanting to find out if the telekinetic could fire the guns pointed at them. One of them sitting with a broken leg, one of his partner’s nose was bleeding with the other teammates covered in cuts and bruises thanks to Faith.

“What happened to you guys?” Jason asked as the three girls crawled back through the window. (According to Gigi that was “how it was done” and Lucy wasn’t about to argue with what was the proper way to enter an apartment.)
“Oh you know,” Faith said tossing him a bag of sour gummy bears, “Gotham stuff.”
“Let’s talk about boys!” Gigi sang jumping onto the couch as she cracked open a tub of ice cream pouring half the bottle of chocolate syrup into it before digging in.
“That’s my cue to leave” Jason mumbled getting up moving toward his bedroom.
“Awww why?” Lucy asked opening a bag of chocolate M&Ms letting Faith grab a handful before helping herself, “no boy drama in your life?”
“Because we just had some great boy drama,” Faith said before stuffing her mouth with the small chocolates. “They were all over us.”
“Too bad they had to go” Lucy added shaking her head sadly.
