Cahir’s wrist itches with phantom pain – either heavy with the chains of loyalty, or light from the lack of them and unused to the air rushing across his skin. Warmth in the shape of Yennefer’s fingers still lingers.

“Alright,” Cahir says, “I’m coming with you.”

Some things I certainly didn’t expect from The Witcher season 2 was getting out of it not just thinking Geralt is even more handsome than before, but also shipping Cahir and Yennefer…like what ?

“Stand back! Stand back!“ Jaskier shouted warningly at the wild looking stranger that had suddenly walked in from the cellar and up behind Yennefer. He brandished the bottle he was holding in his hand, pointing it at the man in the green cloak.

“He’s with me. It’s okay," Yennefer placated while motioning the stranger to stay behind her. Which he did. Very closely behind her. Jaskier lowered the bottle.

"I need to get to Cintra," the witch explained, turning her head toward the much taller man, her shoulder almost touching his chest. “The both of us.“

“I’ll do what I can. But know this. You, you both ... “Jaskier paused, looking Yennefer in the eye. “... smell truly awful. I mean, ...“ He grimaced. “... it is like something has crawled up your arses and died. So.“ He waited a second for Yennefer to explode, outraged at his words, but it seemed to be his lucky day. The expected blast never came. Inwardly breathing a sigh of relief, the Bard strode around the counter toward the table where he had left his lute. “We’ll leave Oxenfurt at nightfall," he continued casually. "Plenty of time to take a bath before then."
