Yeosang
“What do you think about getting a baby?” I ask Yeosang while he was sitting watching me cook.
“Getting?” He asks, immediately realizing that this conversation was not going in the direction most people think it would.
“Getting a puppy...?” I draw out in a soft voice, afraid of being told no.
Yeosang looks down, trying to hide the smile on his face.
“Are you sure you want a puppy?” Yeosang asks with a raised eyebrow.
“Yes, I really want one!” I exclaim giving yeosang a small pout. “I’ll take care of it really well.”
“I don’t know....” Yeosang places his finger on his mouth, looking up making it seem as he was thinking hard.
“Please?” I beg, holding my hands to my face.
“You better not cuddle that puppy more then me.” Yeosang smiles cheekily, watching as I squeal for joy and run to hug him tightly.
Jongho
Jongho and I were relaxing on the couch, he was sitting while my legs lied across his. I was looking through cute puppy pictures, making me pout happily from their adorableness.
“I want a puppy.” I tell him suddenly, looking up at Jongho.
“You want a puppy?” He asks for clarification as he rests his hands on my legs, letting his phone fall on the couch.
I nod as I sit up to face Jongho. “Can we get one?” I ask hopefully, bringing my hands up to my face to rest them under my chin.
“Aren’t I as wonderful as a puppy.” Jongho smiles, placing his head in his hands, looking at me sweetly.
“Yes, you’re as wonderful as a puppy.” I tell him as I lean in near his face. “Even more wonderful than a puppy.”
“So, why do you want a puppy?” He asks, also learning close to me.
“Because they’re so cute!” I squeal as I lean away from him to show him a picture of a puppy on my phone.
Jongho purses his lips as he looks at the photos of puppies. I look to him to see his pouty expression, making me smile at him.
I lean in and give his extended lips a quick kiss. “Please Jongho.”
“Okay, lets go get a puppy.” He smiles at me, leaning in again for another kiss.
Hongjoong
“Hongjoong, can we get a puppy?”
Hongjoong looks away from his computer to look at me, seeing the sincere want in my eyes. He thinks for a moment, weighing the pros and cons of owning a puppy. The pros heavily outweigh the cons and he smiles brightly.
“I think a puppy is a great idea.”
I squeak excitedly, running over to wrap my arms around Hongjoong’s sitting frame.
Hongjoong smiles, happy to see the excitement. Unbeknownst to my knowledge, however, he realized how much a puppy was needed. He wanted me to have someone while he was away, someone to watch me and show me affection while he was touring. He didn’t want to make me sad with these thoughts so he kept them to himself, but that was his reasoning for agreeing to the puppy so fast.
Mingi
Mingi and I were relaxing at the park, enjoying the nice weather. We watched the kids play on the playground as the adults chatted amongst themselves. I hear barks come from the other side of the park, looking over to see a puppy learn to play catch. I gasp at its cuteness, grabbing Mingi’s arm to get his attention.
“Mingi, look how cute that puppy is!” I exclaim, feeling my heart ache from its cuteness.
Mingi watches the situation in front of him unfold, he could tell how much I loved the puppy when I didn’t even know it. He smiles widely as he responds.
“Wouldn’t it be amazing to have a puppy.”
I turn to face him with wide eyes.
“Can we get a puppy?!” I ask loudly and with a giant smile on my face.
“I think the thought of a puppy makes you happier then the thought of me.” He teases, winking at me.
“No, I just got excited.” I mumble, thinking he was telling me ’no’ to a puppy.
“Well don’t be too excited then.” He starts, looking off in front of him. “But I think we should go pick one out.”
“A puppy!” I shout excitedly, causing Mingi jump from the outburst.
“Yes, a puppy.” He chuckles, standing in front of me while holding his hand out for me to take. I grab it, tightly swing our arms together as we walk down the pathway on our way to get a new puppy.
Wooyoung
Wooyoung opens the door to the apartment, slipping off his shoes in the door and walking into the living room. I was sitting on the couch, hands in my hoodie pockets, stretching it out to its capacity as I look towards the sounds from Wooyoung.
“Hey, how was today?” I ask him, knowing he was probably exhausted from practice.
“It was good.” He smiles at me, giving my cheek a kiss as he sits next to me on the couch. “How was your day?”
“It was good.” I giggle at him, feeling my hoodie move a moment.
I see Wooyoung’s face twist into confusion as he looks down to my hoodie.
“What’s in your hoodie?” Wooyoung questions, raising one eyebrow in my direction.
I chuckle nervously before croaking out.
“First, I have a question for you.”
He nods at me to continue a spy hoodie moves again.
“How would you feel about having a puppy?” I whisper the question as I look down at my hoodie.
“I feel like I have no choice in this question.”
I look at him to see his smiling at me with an amused expression evident on his face. Wooyoung reaches out and lifts my hoodie, revealing a small puppy underneath. The puppy pants at him, giving him a goofy smile with his tongue hanging from the side.
“I’m sorry.” I trail off, feeling guilty bout bringing the puppy home before asking him. “He was the last one left and he seemed so sad and lonely and they were about to leave and I loved him and I’m sorry I didn’t ask you first.”
Wooyoung grabs my face to stop my rambling, shaking my head gently so I’d focus on him.
“It’s okay.” He reassures me. “I would’ve said yes. I think he’s adorable.
I smile at Wooyoung as I let the puppy out of the confines of my hoodie.
“But you better have not named him without me.” Wooyoung states sternly, causing me to laugh and the new puppy to bark along with our laughter.
Seonghwa
“Seonghwa, look how cute this puppy is!” I exclaim as I pick up a puppy from the play pen that was placed outside the market. The puppy frantically licks my face, causing me to giggle happily. Seonghwa smiles at the scene in front of him, enjoying watching the pair interact. I go over to Seonghwa, putting on my best puppy dog face. “Can I please have her?” I ask him, holding the puppy up so she could also put on her best puppy face. Seonghwa laughs at the two of us, immediately falling for the puppy’s charms. “Of course you can get a puppy.“
I cheer excitedly and go let the previous owners know I’d be taking the puppy home.
Seonghwa could already imagine the shenanigans the new puppy and I would get into. He knew we’d both become great friends and he knew he’d have constant entertainment from the both of us causing trouble. It was easy for him to say yes, because he knew how happy that puppy was going to make me and to see me happy is all he wants.
Yunho
Yunho and I were relaxing on the couch with the tv playing in the background. Yunho and I were on our phones, lying each others legs over the other’s. We like to keep the tv on for the noise and so we could watch interesting commercials. Much like the one that suddenly appears on the screen. The little barks coming from small puppies caught both Yunho’s and my own attention. It was a local shelter advertising their new arrivals and it definitely caught my attention.
A little white puppy with one ear sticking straight up and one flopping down tilts his head on the screen, causing my heart to swell with love. I look at Yunho to spill my heart.
“I love him.”
“I want him.”
Yunho and I both state at the same time, causing us both to smile fondly at each other.
“Let’s go!” Yunho exclaims as he jumps from the couch, grabbing my hand and rushing out the door, going to get our new family member.
San
Some friends of mine had gone out of town for a week and asked if San and I could watch their new puppy. We had both agreed and we watched their puppy and loved every moment of it. When the puppy left I felt disheartened, having loved the puppy so much, making me miss him a lot. San realize day sadness, knowing exactly why I was behaving the way. He knew what he had to do, so he hatched a plan.
~
It was a sunny, spring day and I was slowly feeling better about the puppy. I still missed him dearly, but was able to get my chores done without moping around. I hear the door open, announcing San’s arrival home. I run to greet him at the door. He sees me coming towards him and places all his belongings on the floor. I jump at him and he catches me as we both hug each other tightly.
“Did you miss me?” He teases with a sly smile.
“Of course I did.” I kiss him quickly before helping him bring in some of his things.
San follows behind me, carrying a big box that looked pretty heavy. He places it in the table, lying his hand in the top as he looks at me.
“I got you something.” He smiles warmly, tapping the box with his fingers, making me extremely curious.
“What is it?” I ask him, tilting my head slightly, trying to get a hint on what could be hidden beneath the box’s top.
“First, what’s a really good boy name?” He asks out of th blue, making me even more confused.
“For what?” I giggle at his question, not seeing the relevance.
“Well we will need to think of a really cute boy name.” He mentions as he reaches for the top of the box.
Some ideas begin to race through my head, suddenly making me excited for what lies inside the box. My smile widens as I run up closer to the box, waiting to see what it could be.
“San.” I look at him with a giant smile on my face, having a pretty good idea what was in the box. “Is this what I think it is?”
“Well let’s take a look.” He winks, finally pulling the box open to reveal the small brown and white puppy emerging from the box.
I whine happily when I see the adorable puppy, grabbing him out of the box and cuddling him to my chest.
“San, I love him!” I exclaim, happily as I squish my face into the top of the puppy’s head.
“Your eyes and actions were begin for a puppy.” San recalls, remembering my eyes every time he mentioned my friend’s puppy.
I run over to San, wrapping my free around his neck to hug him tightly.
“Thank you so much.” I whisper, feeling an overflow of happy emotions.
San smiles as he hugs back, careful to not hurt the puppy. “You’re welcome.”
