I am going out of town this weekend and will most likely not be on tumblr much at all; might mobile lurk if I have some down time but I wonât be doing any replies most likely.
I wonât really be on discord at all either so I suppose consider this just a mini hiatus~!
My friends will be over tonight so I might also be on mobile tonight lurking about so!

Bruh! I am Hispanic and Catholic (sorta ) too! I totally agree with your last ask, I quite honestly didn't think someone else was in my position too (albeit probably a little different). But anyways ur the best and I love ur art!!
aa thanks so much dude!! youâre definitely not alone! itâs actually a super common thing for younger/new generation latinx folk to do! and i know a few other latinx friends of mine are also in the same boat, of course each person has their own way of keeping parts of their culture alive, but youâd be surprised just how common it is! I think it plays a huge part in mexican american activism as well? like knowing that hey, the spaniards totally raped and colonized my people and forced this religion on us, but its also part of our history and culture now and canât be ignored, so why not reappropriate it in a way that doesnât erase our history but also can be applied to new ways of thinking that are more inclusive!
