Is fantastical racism going to be a thing here? considering it does exist in canon w/ Pete hating Pepe for being a frog. Then again, none of the other nonhumans were really discriminated against for their species so its legitimacy beyond a gag is debatable. Tbh I always just saw it as a conflict that existed exclusively between sea folk
