Unhinged YHS-related hobby: Turning NPCs into characters

Since april 2025, I've been coming up with a bunch of different ideas in order to flesh out YH as a school. One of them was to basically OC-fy the NPCs and I screenshotted the ones that really interested me! Since then I came up with lottsss of friendgroups, club dynamics, staff headcanons and so on. I had so so much fun and I shared all of them with my closest friends!!

So this mini "series" will be NPCs from the show, BUT ALSO some that I found online just to keep the same spirit of interpreting minecraft skins :D

Characters that I'll focus on: Rain!!

(I originally wanted to post these 3 designs because they're like a little friendgroup but Honf took so much longer than I expected... Here are little spoilers I guess!!)

RAIN:

I chose Rain's skin because I always had this impression that she was fun (even before having this OC-fication project). I knew that she was just another NPC, but, to me, she seemed to be a warm and welcoming person. Her big bow also made me think that she was some kind of magician or showrunner, so that's what I tried leaning into.

Now, onto how I wanted to portray her:

Rain is a scatter-brained, bubbly teenager who is completely ENAMOURED by magic tricks, so much so that her passion detracts people away from her (having a personality that wasn't the norm isn't always neat in HS). She shows it to everybody she knows, loves to make people smile, and while socialising doesn't come easy to her, performing has become a big part of who she is.

On stage, you already have people's attention. You get to make a show out of what you love as well; and performing has progressively become a reason for her to pursue her interests and get creative.

Guys... Imagine seeing someone in the corridor with the most botched tuxedo of all time. The rhinestones were clearly glued onto it and some of it are falling off. But she's clearly having the most fun time of her life still and that's what matters :D XP
