PROJECT: AMV & asking a Rioter
Sooo today I’m starting a PROJECT: Yiora (Yi x Fiora) video...
And it’s gonna be my first AMV, so... OH LADY LUCK PLS HAVE MERCY AND DON’T LET ME SCREW THIS AND DO SHIT PLS PLS PLS Q_Q
P.D.: I’ve talked to a Rioter about a doubt I had about PROJECT: Overdrive (the city). I didn’t specify my doubt, I waited until she would answer (I didn’t want to look annoying or whatever, just wanted to test the waters), and she’s willing to try her best to answer me, she’s so nice QwQ
So I asked her which city it is on the video and said why I’m split between thinking it’s either Zaun or a (very futuristic) ionian city, aaaand I just need to wait until she says if she can answer it or not. THE HYPE IS REAL. If I achieve an answer this would be a blast >.<
P.D.2: LAMB & WOLF ADSMFÑDFK *more hype*
It's been many long years in the making, but the P&P edition of Yiora is finally here! This free download includes cut-and-assemble board and pieces, and a sheet of rules for basic Yiora. While you're over there downloading your free game, be sure to check out the clearance deals on my 8-Bit Tarot deck and my t-shirts!
I'll be releasing updates and variations from time to time as free downloads as well, so be sure to keep checking back for additional news. In the meantime, I'll be prepping the deluxe Boxed edition over at theGameCrafter.com, and working on my next game,Project:Orbits!
This morning I posted the new board design for the final release, and the final rules for the upcoming Print & Play edition of my Yiora game! Enjoy!
I posted the latest revision of the basic rule set for YIORA, with a couple variations and a photo of the pieces I'm planning to use for the boxed set.
Keeping on the topic of my abstract strategy game YIORA for a bit, here's the simple board design. I feel like it needs something more to make it more playful and interesting, but I haven't quite figured out what yet. At any rate, you can see the basic layout, with 36 columns of alternating black-and-white spaces, with the name of the game spelled out in columns 1 and 19. Players place their Overlord at opposing 'A' spaces, with Mages and Pawns arranged around them. The large area in the center is a graveyard for fallen pieces. The current set is scaled to have the board be 24" round, but I'm thinking of scaling it down a bit since I found out about The Game Crafter, and their 18" quad-fold game boards. I need to work up a few diagrams for piece movement and opening position, and then I'll post the updated Primary Basic rules.
