YOU’RE WELCOME
I know hormonal birth control doesn’t work for everyone, but it was a game changer for me. I no longer have to hunt villagers while taking persistent bleed damage to satisfy my hormone-induced bloodlust. Which benefits everyone.

STICKS & STONES, PART II
I internalized this concept so hard as a youth and it fucked me up good. 👍
START A CONVERSATION
Quote from Angela Chen’s excellent book Ace: What Asexuality Reveals About Desire, Society, and the Meaning of Sex which you should all read as your Valentine’s Day homework.
ACCEPTABLE TARGETS
If you want to make jokes about the terrible attitudes of involuntary celibates, be my guest, but, believe me, the fact that they're virgins isn't what makes them despicable human beings.
TIME MANAGEMENT
I realized I was probably aromantic when the idea of dating became a chore, rather than a goal. I already lack the time to do all the things I want to do, and I’m supposed to add a whole-ass other person and their needs to that?
STICKS & STONES, PART III
Don’t be that guy.

I’ve got at least one more of these planned for now, and then probably will revisit the series in the future - there’s plenty of material!
THE PLATONIC IDEAL
The original version of this comic was the first ace-themed comic I ever made, back before I had a dedicated space for it, when it was still called Ace Adventures, I drew it on real paper and colored it with Copichuela markers, and I had a fictional stand-in as the main character.
Though Ace Week was last week, I wanted to try my hand at a redraw, which meant updating the script a bit - but not the references.
STICKS & STONES, PART IV
It was hard to think of a good comeback to this one that wasn’t just vomiting on his shoes.

Happy end of #PrideMonth, everyone. That’s the end of this series for now, but hopefully I’m back to making cartoons on the regular.
