HARLEY SAWYER X PSYCOLOGIST READER
Timeskip headcannons + little scenario
(The 15 year timeskip of the 5th episode while I try to make a worthy 6 episode)
After the 15 years Y/N is older than before, add that to the fact that they are severely malnourished and have several injuries that are poorly treated.
Harley doesn’t have the disadvantage of an aging body restricting him but instead of that he had more problems controlling the places in which the electrical systems have been damaged.
Since he's a supercomputer and he relies on several servers to collect data, he can go into overheat whenver a lot of the electrical systems are activated.
Y/N knows this and has ventured out of the haven only to put him in overheat mode. When that happends his cameras dont work for a while so Y/N uses that to move freely around the most vigilated areas of the factory.
Y/N hasn't changed their mind about their experiemnts. The only reason they are helping is becase that the best way for them to survive and because she knows that Poppy can put the remainder of the factory against them.
Another reason why the psycologist doesn't often exit the haven if because being human, there way more vulnerable than the toys so they basucally stay in the haven either helping with injuries or helping with traumatic encounters.
Since Harvey kidnapped Y/N for the first time, he keeps little smile creatures trapped in case he managed to snatched Y/N again. Because hes aware that those toys are the only food thwy have left.
Sometimes Y/N overheats the systems of a certain area only to be able to look at the cameras in the walls (knowing harley is watching) without worrying about him doing something about it.
Will never admit it but the doctor has thought about turning Y/N into a toy or something similar to him because he knows, realistically, one day that might not be to far Y/N will run out of food to eat or surrender to their creations.
Harley can still operate patients. He has developed his vessels to a point that they have the same precision he had before.
Poppy and Y/N do not get along for various reasons, one of them being fearing that the other will poison the toys against them.
Poppy also doesnt trust Y/N because shes aware that Y/N participated in the experiments and used empathy as a way of making the victims more cooperative.
When a conversation doesn’t go Y/Ns way, they simply change the subject trying to redirect the conversation elsewhere.
Harley ignores people as if the didnt exist if they suggest or say something he doesnt care about.
Ultimately, the psycologist wants to get out of the factory but most of the experiemnts have figured that out and wont let them go. Thats their own personal hell they should suffer for helping with the experiments.
The Prototype knows about this and is the main isntigator of the other experiments turning as hostile as possible towards Y/N. That way they will only have two options: give up or surrender to him for survival.
Since cannonically Playtime Co is still on active, Prototype wants to dismantle the secrets the executives tried to bury in the factory to destroy the company. I believe he uses the doctor because he is the one who had full control on the factory but 1006 needs Y/N because of their bond with the other toys ( I will explore this more in chap 6).
Will Doey realise Y/N isn't a good person and most of their empathy is a means to an end?
But Y/N isnt emotionless. With most experiments the bond is false, a tool to control the narrative their way... But Y/N is capable of real empathy (though is severly tied to their vision of usefullness).
They feel empathy for Player and try to be as understanding and patient with them as they can. After all they are the only 2 humans left on the factory.
Also it was kind of shocking seeing another human being after 15 years. Y/N felt something close to hope and hapiness when they realised they werent the only human down there.
They also have a weird sense of respect because even though they don't really like Poppy or the Prototype, Y/N respects them both as highly dangerous individuals and intelligent minds that could take control of the factory.
Y/N has come to feel real affection for Doey after years of surviving together. I like to think of them as some sort of anchor for each other. Of course Y/N also feels affection for Harvey, but the fact that to be with him they need to surrender to 1006 is the main reason Y/N wont act upon those feelings.
I like to believe these two are having the yearning of their lives. The doctor wont ever admit it or let it show but when there isnt much moment on the factory, he replays over and over again the video footage he has of Y/N or the voice recordings that register in his system when they talk.
Meanwhile, Y/N hangs on Harleys lab coat whenever they think about him.

When Mommy Long Legs toom their arm off, the whole journey back to the safe haven was long and painful. At firts Y/N didnt even register the pain, they felt dissy and they wanted to vomit.
When they finally got to the haven, their vision had started fading and the psycologist coudl see black at the corner of their eyes.
Certain voices coud be heard at the background, Y/N could barely recognised the blur that was Doeys worried and devastated face. The only thing they could feel was the tight grasp they had on Harleys lab coat, the same one that was coated in their blood.
They held it like a lifeline until they lsot consciousness. The following days, the injury got infected and the paint started to feel like actual hell. Still the only thing that could be done was that Doey had to held Y/N down so they wouldn't worsened the wound.
Doey could hear his parent figure mumbling nonsense when they drifted in and out if consciousness and something he could make out clearly was a word that repeated itself in Y/Ns tonge
"Harley...Harley..."
Once it was all over and the stump that was left of their arm no longer hurt to the point of unconsciousness, they couldn't help but wonder how would Harley react. Did he know you were alive even?
And the thing is that he didn't. He saw everything and even though he tried to help as much as he could, Mommy Long Legs was relentless. The moment he saw her biting down your arm he almost shut down.
After your retreat he became paranoid, more violent and less patient with other toys... The prototype tried to attack once again, trying to take advantage of your vulnerable state but he didnt managed to stract you from the haven as intended.
Harley made it even more difficult to the toys of the haven to gather more resources until he realised that part of those resources would go to you. In that moment he would probably leave the little medical equipment left acccesable to the toys, hoping they would have the sense to use it on you.
And they did, several months after you could be awake for more than 4 hours, you started to adapt to the wound, first on the haven and later on the safe places (safe meaning out of reach for Harvey).
It wasn't until Doey congratulated you on getting part of a grap-pack that you had the idea to implement the hand to your own body.
It took weeks, only designing how to do it and even more time gathering the materias and going through the process.
But finally a year after after the injury you had a new arm, one that let you move around the factory more efficiently. That's when Harley saw you again.
He couldn't control himself when through the speakers of the factory it sounded " Its you... you are back". He had this incredulous tone you were sure he had never used before. You look at the camera and titled your lips upward trying to form a smile " Hello Harley...". You both stood there looking at each other until you went back to the places he couldn't reach...
It didnt matter you couldn't go to him this time, there would be other opportunities, they would. You were alive and that already was enough of a feat. The germ had somehow survived and for the first time in years he could feel pure unadulterated happiness flowing through his wires

GUUUYS Im back with this series. Sorry for making you wait, I want to give a good chapter 6 and i had to reread my whole fanfic and part of the Poppy playtime lore so things would make sense.
Ive also been replaying the game (the little times I can play) and found interesting things
The image on the left is a light and some moths, there fore there are certain insects in the factory such as this ones (the quality is horrible but I have nothing better).
The image on the left is a source of water. Some sort of waterfall that's inside the factories complex tunnels. There fore I think Y/N would get very dirty water from these caves and may have eaten a few bugs when food was low.
