Once bitten..

(Backstory: Glenn and Bri have been dating a while. He's taken her on a vacation, just the two of them. No Yu, no Alan. They're staying at a lodge with all the luxuries.)

I folded my arms over my chest. She was taking forever. How long did it take to chose a bikini? It didn't matter, no one else would see it. I was taking her to a private pool. But she was making me wait. I was growing impatient.

Walking to the door, I knocked. "Bri! Come on! By the time we get there, it'll be sunset! What on Earth could be taking you this long? What are you doing in there?" I sighed looking at my watch once more. I'd been waiting over an hour already. I knew women took forever to get dressed for dates, but they were only going to the pool. Why would she need this long to get ready to swim?

I paced the floor. I couldn't wait to have her all to myself. We'd only just arrived this afternoon to the secluded lodge. I had been wanting to take her away forever and I'd finally cleared my schedule. I was going to make the most of this trip alone with Bri, that is if she'd come out of the damned bathroom!

I heard the door click open and I swung my eyes around to see her emerging. I was struck dumb. "Bri..you.. shit.." I swore softly at the sight of her. She was gorgeous, always but in that suit.. I swallowed hard and tried to make my mouth work. No luck.

I walked back to my office, fuming. How could this happen? I knew Alan wanted something fun, but this? Really? How could he ask something of this magnitude of me?

"He better appreciate this!" I grumbled under my breath.

Alan's birthday was coming up and I'd promised him he could have any one wish of me for his gift. "I expected him to ask for a new horse or a game, anything but this!" But he was a man of his word, and a promise was a promise.

Glowering, I sat in my chair and grabbed my cell. I punched the one number I needed most right now. Hers..

"Bri! You're never going to guess what the munchkin asked of me for his birthday wish! Can you come to my office? I really need to see you. You need to calm my nerves.." I groaned as I begged her to come to me.

1. Do to the fact that I received “Sweet Fuse: At Your Side” for Christmas, I’d love to hear if you have it; and if you do, who your favorite character is!

I do have it, but as always, I'm super behind on games I want to play.  My guess is though that the character who likes games will be my favorite.  Or the one voiced by Suwabe.

2. What did you get for Christmas?

A toaster and a blender.  I do not kid.

3. Was your New Year spend on Tumblr, like mine was?

Some of it was.  My mom also made me go shopping, and we watched a movie.

4. What was the first Voltage Inc or NTT Solmare character route that you ever played?

My first Voltage character was Takao from MFW.  I can't remember who my first Solmare character was.  I think it was Saizo from Ninja Love

5. What led you to the wonderful world of otome games?

I stumbled upon the pacthesis dating sim games and it all went from there

6. Do you like hugs?

I do!

7. Other than otome games, do you have interests in other games? If so, what kinds?

Yes, usually rpg type games.  Fable, Dragon Age

Xbox 360, PSP, and 3DS

Anything with cheese.  I like pasta and chicken too.

Oh man, it's so hard to choose!  Someone from KnB guess, but even then it's hard to narrow it down.  For the sake of answering, I'll go with Kuroko

I'm usually on my computer more than my phone, but I use them both quite a bit

4: If you had a super power what should it be?

I think some kind of healing power would be cool

5: which anime world would you like to get to live in?

UtaPri.  Good looking guys who can sing and dance, plus fun music every episode!

Another hard question!  Either The Second Reproduction or Nameless

7: which fictional guy would you have to be really?

Hmm...maybe Yogi from Karneval.  He finds joy in making others happy, but he's competent and capable.  He's also caring and generous.

8: What would you rather, live here, in fact, with your guy from question 2 Or live in the world you have selected in question 5?

Haha well I'm almost as quiet as Kuroko, so that might not work.  I think I'd rather live in UtaPri world

9: DeviantART or Pixiv?

I'm mostly on Pixiv, but I can't read most of the stuff there, so DeviantART is easier for me to navigate

10: dog or cat?

Cat.  I really love dogs, but I love cats more

11: what is your biggest dream?

I'd love to write music for otome games one day, but in all honestly, I get so much happiness from teaching, so if I ended up doing that for the rest of my life, that would also be a dream.

I'm a leo, and my Chinese sign is the pig (I had to look it up, so I think that's right)

I haven't finished any manga except for some oneshots, but I am reading Karneval, so I'll go with that.

4. Favorite seiyuu(s)?

Tsuda Kenjirou and Shimono Hiro.  But I also like Miyano Mamoru, Taniyama Kishou, and Suwabe Junichi

5. Who do you most aspire to be like?

My advisor.  He's so encouraging.  He really makes you feel that you can do things.  He also has a lot of tact, and he's beyond smart.

6. Do you have an ultimate goal for your life, and are you currently working toward it or have you accomplished it already?

my ultimate goal is to get a job teaching at a university somewhere.  I am working toward it though.  I've got about a year left on my doctorate degree, and I already teach at my uni as an instructor of record.

7. What is/was your area of study?

Music composition with a minor in music theory

8. Have you played an otome game; if so which one was your first?

I have!  My first one was My Forged Wedding

9. Favorite video game of all time?

Uh...I got really obsessed with Dragon Age 2, but I don't know if I'd call it my favorite.  My favorite otome game though is either Nameless or The Second Reproduction

I don't really have one I guess.  I say "fake it 'till you make it" sometimes though

11. If you could wish for anything, what would it be?

stay at home and get paid to play otome games!
