Headcanon Part 3:
Once Victor and Yuri enter the point of their relationship where they’re actually Having Sex (in its various forms) they are going like rabbits like—as many times a day as they physically can and it’s ridiculous and it honestly becomes a Problem and interferes with their training which needs to be their 100% focus or at least 99% focus and they KNOW that but that makes it WORSE because there’s nothing like denial to fan the flames and then they limit themselves to one (1) sex per day but then there’s too much pressure riding on that one session and that’s a mess and basically they need an intervention and they get it (Yurio? Yakov? Lol...do they write letters and read them aloud?) and I don’t know how this resolves so I may need to explore that in a fic but ANYWAY Horny Bois <3
Part 1 Part 2
Hot drink + age reversal with Viktor
//Yuri is the multi-time World Champion and Olympic Medalist, having won everything multiple times.
Viktor is the up and coming skater, eager to prove himself and being heralded as “the next great thing”.
Yuri finds Viktor’s pep a bit annoying, and Viktor thinks Yuri takes everything a bit too seriously.
Viktor actually looks up to Yuri quite a bit for all he’s accomplished.
Yuri thinks Viktor has a lot of potential and wants him to succeed.//
i think someone might have already made a post like this but imagine the in-universe fan videos on youtube like
“five straight minutes of viktor nikiforov putting his arm around yuuri katsuki”
“olympics mood” and its clip of one of yuuri’s post skate interviews with the camera slow zooming on viktor’s, who is looking at yuuri like he’s simultaneously living and dying
the audio is replaced with the slow sax from careless whisper
“yuuri katsuki rants about how much he loves viktor nikiforov [COMPILATION]”
the video is an hour long and viktor has retweeted a link
for the hc meme: yuuri and viktor!
Yuuri---
Headcanon A: realistic
Yuuri is in some slight denial but Victor was his sexual awakening in addition to his skating aspiration.
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
Yuuri is incredibly afraid of bees.
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
The reason why Vicchan’s passing shook Yuuri up so badly is not that he died, but that he believes Vicchan died thinking Yuuri no longer loved him since he had been gone for so long and wasn’t there at the end.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
Yuuri doesn’t actually have a real issue with binge eating except with extreme cases like his first GPF plus Vicchan’s death --- his relationship with food is actually not that bad, he’s just aware if he’s not careful he can get out of skating weight. While he doesn’t constantly consume junk, he understands it’s better to not fight cravings completely so he’ll do things like buy a really good chocolate bar and savor it a piece at a time for those kind of days, etc.
Victor---
Headcanon A: realistic
The reason for Victor’s haircut was he thought when his face finished filling out the long hair made him look less androgynous and more like a guitarist from a Whitesnake cover band who never learned the 80s ended.
Headcanon B: while it may not be realistic it is hilarious
The reason he loves poodles is because of Georgette from Oliver and Company. She’s lavender AND Bette Midler so like...sold.
Headcanon C: heart-crushing and awful, but fun to inflict on friends
Victor dated a little and maybe had sex on a few occasions before Yuuri, but he always said skating mattered more and things would fizzle. Then when he was at his third consecutive GPF win, he realized he was going home to an empty apartment every time and what a mistake prioritizing his career and nothing else was. By then he felt he was in too deep to try to course correct.
Headcanon D: unrealistic, but I will disregard canon about it because I reject canon reality and substitute my own.
Victor has no issues with his mental health besides the situational depression thing. His family’s also fine, just busy.
Headcanons I discovered while writing
1. Secretly Violent as Fuck Yuuri (only in defence of others. Usually Victor)
2. Victor views Yurio as his precious baby brother which pisses Yurio off
3. Yurio is a fucking Ray of sunshine when drunk
4. Yuuri gets petty revenge at people who eat his Kit-Kats
5. Phichit is AroAce
6. Yuuri has a PowerPoint on his laptop about how Asexuality is a valid identity because of point 5
7. Yurio is also Ace
8. Yuuri is bi af
9. Yuuri and Victor are full of ride or die brotherly love for Yurio
10. Mila loves to shit stir and is the main instigator for shit. (The rest do their best to keep her from having proper conversations with Phichit)
11. JJ is a very awkward person and bonds about that with Yuuri and so ends up invited on things
12. Yuuri is a nerd for musical theatre as is Phichit
13. Victor is very passive aggressive and petty and loves to get reporters fired
14. He also gets turned on by Violent Yuuri
15. Yurio can be the angriest of angry mom friends at times
16. Yakov claims he’s not anyone’s dad but if you insult his skaters he screams at you for insulting his children and privately considers Yuuri to be the best Son in Law ever
yuri plisetsky is a trans boy and lilia is a trans girl and her training him to be a "prima ballerina" was her way of helping him to realize that he didnt have to be hypermasculine to be a Real Boytm and that he was still just as valid if he was feminine and it was integral to him finding the happy medium that he is still discovering within himself thank you for coming to my ted talk
HC: Loneliness.
It’s a bizarre feeling, kind of like when you get a lump in your throat before you cry or puke, but in an entirely different place. It makes your whole rib cage ache and your chest numb, but there’s a much deeper, dull throb, too. Yuri knows how it feels when he misses people, he spends his life missing his family and his cat, but it’s never manifested this way before. It’s never physically hurt. It isn’t painful, per say, but it’s not a pleasant feeling. It’s difficult to ignore, extremely so, but Yuri finds a few things can make it ease. Things like text messages, pictures and hour long phone calls, but it’s all temporary, and then this stupid, irritating feeling comes back. It’s hard to deal with, and it takes Yuri far too long to figure out why. People always say the first day after separating is the worst. Yuri doesn’t think that’s true. It’s the third when it always hits him, and a small part of him wonders if Otabek feels that way, too. The first day apart is filled with promises, I’ll see you again soon, you won’t even miss me, the second is filled with the overwhelming sense that he can breathe, which is nice after being joined at the hip for a week, but the third always hurts. The third always comes with the realisation that they aren’t together anymore, almost like he’s missed a hit of some incredibly addictive drug and the previous hit as finally worn off.
He isn’t used to missing people, not like this, and a little part of him hates Otabek because, well, this is his fault. It’s only a little part, though, because the longing comes with the thrill of being inlove in the first place, something Yuri wouldn’t change for the world. It doesn’t make it any easier, though.
So at nights, sometimes he cries because he misses Beka. Sometimes he cocoons himself in his duvet or makes an Otabek-shaped lump to sleep beside. Sometimes he just sits and feels the dull ache in his chest, but never once does Yuri wish the feeling away.
It’s a twisted turn of fate that you never truly notice how deeply inlove you are until you’re torn apart, but Yuri supposes that the world just works like that sometimes. Every good thing has a bad to counter it, only this ‘bad thing’, Yuri is learning to embrace.
The dull ache in his chest serves as a reminder that they’ll be together again. That ache reminds him that he is loved, even when Otabek isn’t there to say it.
