To the one who’s always by my side: thank you for always tolerating me and my stupidity. I know I can allow myself to be walked on and turn a blind eye -- but when it happened, you were there to tell me not to let others do things like that. You’re taking the parts of me that are the weakest and allowing them to grow, allowing them to become whole, and making me into a person who can depend on myself. There’s nobody who’s ever been this kind of figure for me, so... I’m really thankful that you do this for me, and that you do it for my sake.

You’re too kind to me. I mean, it’s not as though I’ll take it for granted, but you’re just too kind to me and I feel like I don’t deserve it. I’ve done nothing to merit the kindness that you show me. Not that I don’t like it. I don’t want you to stop being kind to me, you’ve already shown me kindness; to take it back would feel sad. So don’t stop being nice to me. I’ll be someone who deserves your kindness from now on.
