dear trans woman who switched to any pronouns or she/they because she got misgendered a bunch by other queer people/allies: I know how it feels and i was you once but you don't have to do that . I know it's hard but you have to either stand up for yourself or find someone else who can protect you. I love you and you deserve better than this. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you've spent your whole life learning that asserting yourself is how you make people even angrier at you, and that you live in a world where doing this to you is normal and encouraged behavior. All I can promise you that making one friend who is a principled transfeminist will help you stop going insane.
