Sooo my extended family (all fourteen of us) are currently on vacation together, sharing the same little rental house. And four people have come down with a really bad stomach bug. My brothers are doing much better, but my cousin is on day two with a high fever and can’t get out of bed. The rest of us are just waiting for it to start and take out someone else. Literally this morning I woke up and right away checked on all of my siblings and cousins to make sure everyone else was still okay ToT

So if you are the sort of person who prays, I would really appreciate some additional prayers for my cousin to recover soon and for everyone else to stay completely healthy (especially for the long drive home in a few days).

Update: My cousin is going to the emergency room now because her fever is so high.

Update: My cousin is back from the hospital and sleeping again, so hopefully she’s able to get all the way back soon! Thank you so much for all of your prayers!

I was wondering, what do you usually do in your free time? (You-you do have free time, don’t you? Zeus, don’t you dare work the poor kid too hard!)

Ah, do not worry! I have plenty of free time! My services are usually only needed when the Lord calls upon me to serve him wine, or during important meetings, or parties. 

I do a lot of things in my free time! Sometimes I’ll spend time with any Gods who wish to give me their time, like Lady Hestia or Lord Hermes or Lord Apollo! I like playing dice with Lady Athena sometimes, although she hardly visits often, and has even less time to spend with me. Eros comes by sometimes! And Hymenaios! I like them a lot… 

I like to play my lyre. I’m nowhere near as good as Lord Apollo is, but it’s really fun to play! Lord Apollo teaches me newer songs. I like to sing sometimes too. And recently I’ve been practicing painting on pottery! Oh, and I do archery! Or I’ll explore Olympus… I’ve been here so long, yet I’m still awed by the scenery here…

hey, so, just a bit of input. If any of you are/may end up being professors/teachers, please teach your students how to do something before assigning a project involving doing that something. This is really infuriating because it's not my fault that I can't get this program to work. It's not cause I didn't pay attention in class. It's not cause I made a couple stupid mistakes. It's cause I never actually learned how to do any of this, and I'm expected to do it with little to no guidance. It feels really fucking unfair. I mimicked the barest nibble of an example he provided for us, and it isn't working and I have no idea why. I tried to research the issue on my own, but most of what I found didn't make any sense because I was never taught how to understand it. I'm not paying nearly my entire salary every six months to struggle with teaching myself something. Fuck
