I saw you in my sleep. I saw your bright blue eyes, I watched them laugh. I caught a glimpse of that wild hair that I adore. I could taste you on my mouth, within the surface of my eager lips. In my sleep we were everywhere: comparing favorites in a library, discussing the fragility of life while laying in the park, holding hands at a concert. And then I saw us once more: I watched you smile at me from your kitchen counter top, you watched me attempt to dance in my living room.... we were constantly watching each other, absolutely transfixed by the other. My dreams are always very hopeful. I don't necessarily have to think about what they mean. I just know that they are lovely, you make them lovely.
